My college

The college infrastructure is student friendly and the college support student not only in studies but in building their own path towards success. Even faculties are student friendly and they are well experienced. This college is best for students degree life.

Since the college is Autonomous, it has its own syllabi. So the course which I chose is BSc in biotechnology, and curriculum is more forwarded than the other universities. The curriculum is from basics to higher level. Even practicals are upto research level. Exams takes up twice a semester. There is 1 Mid-semester exam and 1 End-semester examination.

College has its own placement department that provides students lots of opportunities by bringing different companies to college campus. Under placement cell many students are hired by companies. Students can apply for job by the help of placement cell. I don't know whether my college provides internship but I had never got stipend from my college.

In our college numerous events are celebrated. To mention there was a event called "PRATIBHA" in which there os competition taking place between all the departments of college. The event includes individual and group activities, talent hunt, etc. And on the end day of event there was DJ night where most of the students enjoyed dancing.

Fee structure is different for different courses chosen. For the course I chose the fee was about 70 thousand per year. When compared to other colleges this fee is nominal amd feasible. The fee paid includes all other individuals fee like library fee, sports fee, etc.

I haven't availed any of the scholarship from college but I got to know that College is providing Management scholarship which students can avail after completing first year with average marks in both the semester. And also College provide midday meal for the students who economically not good.

Extra curricular activities takes place everyday in college that are conducted by different departments of college. Extra curricular activities include sports, theatre, photography, dancing, singing, etc. According to course the practical classes are held in lab where students are introduced to work with their theory studies. Lab infrastructure are good equipped with good lab equipments.

The college has large history that it was started long back. Since then there were many students who studied in this college. The college conducts alumni meet every year so that students can be brought into touch with present students.

I applied online application then I got a message to attend interview in college, then based on performance in my 12th standard I got admission in this college. During interview they enquired me with few questions that are related to students behaviour in college and they informed me some of the rules of college.

Faculty of our college are student friendly, and most of the faculties are with greater experience they teach us well and also help us with doubts. Other than there subject they also join with students during extra curricular activities. They suggest students to go with research.
