Remarks

Yeah, the positive remark is the college has a wide reached between several countries. So there are many opportunities to learn, cultural influences, and attitude building. So there is a lot and lot to see upon the self-growth and the positive outlook in society.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is really harsh for the students. Like after every month end the exams which are called CAT( continuous assessment tests) namely CAT-1 (closed book) and CAT-2(open book) with quizzes, assignments, and practicals. Then after 2 CATs are over then comes the practical exams followed by Final exams without sufficient time to prepare.

Placement Experience

3

The placement job opportunities are really good. I don't know much about it. Dream companies come here to take students but less in number. The package is less usually. But everyone gets placed here as I know.

College Events

4

Gravitas- it's a technical event in which clubs and chapters come forward to showcase their talents and ideas to a presentation as a fare and events conducted with music, stall, scientific things, robots, airplanes, bikes, and many competitions between different colleges. Riviera- it's a cultural event in which there is the arrival of any events related to music, culture, comedy, pop shows, Dj nights and is completely lit with lights and the coming of celebrities from all over India. It's really amazing experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It depends upon the categories. So it's quite feasible if you are in the 1st category but in the second, third, fourth, and fifth it's really hard to quite to come with the regular expenses. So it's expensive if you are in the late categories.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no such scholarships that I have known of. But if you do really well in your entrance exam they might give you good scholarships. I don't know how many scholarships but I know that it's not easy to avail scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

The labs, sports, dance, music, etc is really good at VIT. There is high competition to get into these college groups or clubs which usually feature this. And this is really hard to get into these groups and is really prestigious and they win prizes in some intercollege fest and competition every year.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes, I have opted for the hostel in VIT. The hostel infrastructure is really good. But the rooms don't have an attached bathroom and toilet facilities. And overall the rooms are good and mess in the hostel itself with badminton courts.

Alumni/Alumna

Most of the seniors are really helpful and there is no ragging on this campus. All the help the seniors do. They help in choosing courses and are friendly and helps you out of problems. They are encouraging and motivating.

Admission

I got admission in this college by 75% cutoff criteria in physics, maths, and chemistry with the entrance exam being cleared. Those who don't have maths can also take up biology with the above-mentioned criteria.

Faculty

3

Faculties are hardworking. They'll do anything to make you understand. But most of them are boring. And some of them won't let you pass easily. And some faculties are really amazing with the subject feel and topic overview with good examples and well-arranged flow of concepts.
