Best college in north India after IIT-D

Nothing negative about my college. I love my college. I feel so fortunate to be a part of such college. I didn’t know that my college life would be this much amazing. I got friends ,created memories for life.

Our course curriculum was based on relative grading instead of absolute grading. The grades of entire students was totally based the performance of highest scoring candidate. There were 2 exams per semester i.e mid sem and end sem. Overall marks was calculated by adding marks of these two exams and internals which was given by the class teacher himself.

The placements of our college is commendable. Major product based companies come in our college to recruit students. Average package of students last year was around 8 lacs and the maximum was around 40 lacs offered by Microsoft

Our college holds the biggest cultural festival of north India which is Engifest. It is held in the month of February every year. Major artists like vishal Shekhar, Nucleya international dj like bassjackers have come here to perform.

When I got admission in this college,the fee was quite affordable but in due course of time there has been a regular increase of fee of btech students every year. Now it has been raised to almost 2 lacs per annum. But our college provides fee waivers to the students of low income group.

Fee concession for the students of low income group is a scholarship scheme of our university. A student who has annual income of less than 3 lacs p.a can apply for the same. Based on the meeting/interaction with the parents of the students ,the students are offered fee concession. Yes, I have availed the same.

There are ample opportunities in sports as well as extra curricular activities. Participation in conducting engifest itself provides exposure to students.in addition to this , there are several other cultural societies as well in which a student can showcase and improve his talent by joining them.

They are really helpful if you go to seek help from them. I was really afraid of meeting them but once I got comfortable with them, they were the most helpful seniors.they would tease you in the first place but you would enjoy it.

I got admission in this college through JEE MAIN 2015. They conduct a separate counselling procedure i.e JAC Delhi. Once you get registered on their website. Round wise results are automatically displayed in due course of time.

Some of the faculties were very knowledgeable, kind and helpful towards the students but some were really of anguish personality. A student commits one mistake and he is gone.there was a mix of young as well as experienced ones.
