Remarks

Negative, there's a lot of problem in Deshbandhu college of Delhi University someone trying to fix this but majority are corruption no good equipment no good activities towards any specific subject in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

This course will get me a good knowledge of CS which is my favourite subject , i just want to increase and develop my programming skill which will gonna help me in my Master and then in placement so, thats all.

Placement Experience

1

I would say the job opportunity is very less because overall I am doing BSc not btech so not anyone fault, no one gonna give job to a bsc passes and yes i dont think college have any internship programme btw I am a first year student dont know too much about that.

College Events

2.5

There is not soo much events related to studies in college but there are a bit events in other college of same university which we can attend, there are some event like fest which are celebrated every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its a bit expensive for middle class families like me I need to pay the rent too because I am frok different city the one year fees is like 15,000 excluding exams fees and all plus there is not a single hostel in our college which make difficult for me.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is not a single scholarship programme in my kind knowledge plus I dont know that is there any loan faculty in our college which is very sad but we need to make everything correct and need to manage bad food of PG.

Campus Life

1.5

Lab equipment are not soo fine because its not a IIT or NIT a lot of errors in the equipment and sports aregood but not all sports are present like basketball in our college which is very sad for some including lab problem.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

No, there is not a single hostel in our college if there is any I would take it because its very expensive to pay rent every month in big city Delhi like me which came from a middle class family. There are hostel in many college of same university but none in ours.

Alumni/Alumna

During election time in Delhi university every senior for vote try to help and gain sympathy from us to get vote from us but after that we can't even see in college there are very few who help otw its hard to find them in college.

Admission

There's a merit system in the Delhi university , current course im in needed 86.01% in top 3 subject and i got 86.33% in PCM in the merit list 4 , i need my original docs and aadhar card and all that

Faculty

2.5

College faculty is good but there is no intership i think but i need to study a lot of subjects like Maths and PHYSICS in which i'm not that much interested because i want my future in compuer science not in mathematics and physics.

The average placement is 10.4 lakhs but the thing is that , placement is not offered to every course and seats are very limited and students from bsc stats and bcom are usually the one with better placement rates..

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are only held once per semester, the IA marks are based on class tests, presentations, lab work and attendance. The syllabus and core curriculum are the same for all the DU colleges. Relevance pretty much depends on you; if you know what you signed up for and prepare accordingly, I can't see a reason why someone would find it irrelevant. Although some elective subjects (like sec and vac) might serve some outdated or irrelevant methods because they're newly introduced, and many DU colleges have this issue, but it's not extreme, some efforts from your side and some from the college's can ovecome this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as highly relevant and fairly comprehensive especially for the students inclined towards applied science and technology. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between the theoretical understanding and the practical application, supported by well equipped laboratories and project based assessments. The inclusion of skill enhancement course and the discipline elective papers provides felxibility and helps students explore interdisciplinary areas. but there is still a room for improvement in making the styllabus more industry oriented, such as integrating internships and live projects and workshops with industry partners to enhance pratical exposure. exams are also prepared in a way that simply memorizing the concept won't help rather deep understanding of the subjects would be needed that is they are much more aplication of comcept oriented. with consistent preparation you can perform well.

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

The course in very interesting and opens many fields for the future. The curriculum is based on the new aspects and skills that are required for the jobs of the new world. One can reach the hights of there field after completing the course Some things can be improved like students should be taken for education trip through which they can explore more. In the annually courses exams are held ones a year and in semester based courses the exams are held after every 6 months The level of examinations are moderate and one can easily clear them with some time of study.

Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.
