Remarks

Academics is good,faculties are very helpful in our studies. Our college have good results in academics. Regular exams and placement cell is very good. but event celebration and other cultural activities are very less not giving much importance in these matters

Good course Curriculum,we have internal exams and series exams helding regularly at all months, teaching is good, library provides lots of textbook for studies, exam is held strictly under control of the faculties

Placement Experience

Our college have 99.5% placement, placements are mostly from Infosys. Tata consultancy etc. mostly IT companies. There is a placement training cell in our college for helping as to connect with multi national companies

College Events

In our college events celebrations are comparatively low with respect to other colleges, union day, Onam, tech fest, artsday, sportsday etc are held but only few programs are there, most of them are held on afternoons

Fee Structure And Facilities

Not much expensive, students are given scholarships for studying,the regular fee structure is 35000 per semester but scholorships are given based on their previous academics, fee structure is feasible

Fees and Financial Aid

For students having 95% above mark in maths, physics, chemistry in +2 have only 4000something tution fee for semester and there is fee waiver scheme for highly talented students, fees are divided as category for students based on their previous academics

Campus Life

Extra carricular activities are good, but not awsome, lab facilities are also good. college mainly focus on studies so extra carricular activities are less considered, but facilities are there for almost all kind of sports

Alumni/Alumna

Good, don't know much about it, alumni's have regular contact with college for helping the college in many matters. There is an alumni group for regular contacting and availing job opportunities for students

Admission

By KEAM merit list, i got admission in this college, in the admission process i meeted office staffs, teachers of my department, principal,managers etc they told me about the college in detail,about placement NBA accreditation etc

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I applied for 4 college include the current one they were : 1)SRM , Chennai 2)M.A.C.E, Kothamangalam 3)MITS , Varikoli 4)V.J.C.E.T, Vazhakulam From these 4 colleges I was rejected by MA college and MITS. I think my KEAM score was too low to make it there . I got a seat at SRM for Electronics and Communication Engineering but was not financialy able enought to afford it. The name of the engineering colleges is 1)viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam(Ernakulam) 2)Rajagiri school of engineering and technology (Ernakulam). And third arts and science college name is Amritha vidhya college (Ernakulam). I didn't get any rejections from these colleges but compared to these three colleges I chose viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam Ernakulam because there I got my admission according to my JEE score and for less management fees.
