According to my experience from my self there is always poitive remark to my college. Because our college has best in all field like extracurricular activities and also gives more importance in the Academics also. There are thousands of students Who are achieved hugely Who are out putted from our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is architecture mainly it is based on drawings it means the drawing is the language of architecture and examination type is two types one is theory and one ptactical total there are eight subjects in first year, second year, and third year and in fourth year THESIS is the main subject.

Placement Experience

Mainly there is more and much options and oppertunities for engineering students. There is no campus selections for B arch students. The job will be founded for ourselves only. So there will be many students who will never come towards the architecture field because of this campus selection threat.

College Events

There will be many events celebrated in our college. Mainly there are two catogaries first one is branch events and institution's events. For branch event only certain branch members will participate. The event which held for campus level in that whole college students will participate. Zonasa, Rachana, Vivarata, Habba etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college Fee structures are Three Types. CET, COMED K, and Management type. I got admission in the CET type. Fees structure for this type is Rs : 80000/ per annum and this will continue till fift year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the loan, scholarships there is always good support from the college. There are many scholarships which are mainly based on the cast system. NSP national scholarship portal us the only scolardhip i will got in first year and i also applied for renewal in second year also.

Campus Life

While talking about extracurricular activities, labs, sports, there is always support from our college. Our college always improves and support to participate in extracurricular activities. Like sports, labs, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, i opted for this college hostel. Fees fir the college hostel is Rs : 66750/- Per annum. Talking about the infrastructures not bad it is good and while talking about hostels food it is also good and hygienic.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Coming to talk about our seniors. There is no ragging in our department and seniors always come forward while we required any help for our academics and for any other extracurricular activities also.

Admission

First we have to write CET common entrance test then JEE mains also wrote and the JEE marks linked with the common entrance test so according to the second puc marks, JEE marks and the CET marks the rank is announced and i got this college to my rank and got admitted in this college.

Faculty

In our college faculties are very good in communication and in timings sense. Some faculties are permanent and some are visiting. For theory subjects there will be only one faculty will handle. And for practcal subjects there will be more than two faculty will handle.

Bmsca - spilt thoughts

Course Curriculum Overview:

You'll indulge in a lot of painting and are related stuff. Well since Architecture is not only about art, there are subjects which will use up your brain cells. You also get to go to study trips too! The ride is not smooth- everyday would be a submission day , everyday would be a love-hate relationship with the course. Internal reviews,external reviews, viva and jury, presentation and assignments, written exams...theyre enough to keep you busy throughout. Since its Affiliated to vtu, the system does seem not so updated to date. You cannot expect to have a month of holidays after each Semester too. Dont dream of having a pleasant vacation break.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more condensed that other colleges', so it makes it easier to tackle multiple things at once. The course prepares us for real world applications through their dual internship program, which is a strong point in their curriculum. If the course in itself had more real world applications, instead of very superficial ideas, it would be more helpful The exams are a hurdle, but it comes with the rigor of the course, and it is something students end up adapting to over the course of 5 years.

If you check with other colleges the approach to the curriculum is different and more fun. The process of learning is more fun and appealing making us satisfied of what we have done at the end. Sometimes we don't get how the teachers are expecting us to do our assignments but we figure it out some how. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-sem and end-sem).

My College Sucks

Placement Experience:

Since our HOD changed this year, I'm not sire about when the placements are available, most probably would be for the 5th year students so 9th sem onwards. Not sur3 about which companies either, highest package would be 8000 I'm guessing, we don't get paid much. My plan is to switch courses, this was absolutely useless to me :)

Comprehensive review of architecture curriculum

Placement Experience:

After 10 semester Students are eligible for placements. Yes,from last year they iffer on campus placements with highest package of 11 lakhs which is really good according to this course. average package is around 6 lakhs which is also decent. 15 out of 30 students could get the placements that is 50 percent. I am planning to pursue masters degree outside India after this course

Remarks:

There are only few countable college who have separate college campus for architecture in India I'm proud to say RV had one of our college had one. I would say if you be a teachers student without conflicts and obtain good marks you will graduate with no problem.

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More
