My College is very good

The course curriculum is relevant to the current industry requirements. The course structure covered the basics of the program. Some of the classes like Physics, Chemistry, Maths were common for all the engineering students, while rest differ based on their specialisation.

Placements are pretty decent in our college. If you are looking for a job you'll definitely get a job. More or less, it depends upon your communication skills & self-confidence. Dedicated interview training programs are also conducted to teach the student tricks and tips for the interview process. Some of the major recruiters include TCS, Wipro, etc. The average salary offered will be around Rs. 20,000 to 30,000 per month.

Many other activities or events are held by college like Cultural day, Sportsday, Fiesta, Quizzes, Debates, Annual function, Industrial trips & many more events every year. They also organised Internhunt for students & give them opportunity to do the internship in well-known companies.

One year fee for the course was INR 155,000, which means the entire course cost me around 4.5 lacs. The college provides pretty decent facilities like auditorium which has AV enabled and computer labs, canteens, digital studio, sports ground etc.

Cultural activities and interdepartmental competitions are pretty much fun, entertaining, & there are a lot of opportunities to learn something new everyday. These events are really very nice & well organised. The campus crowd is pretty good, social life is good too. However, the connectivity of the college is good too.

Candidates should have valid scores in AIEEE or JEE Main. Admissions will be based on performance in the personal interview. I was called for the interview on the basis of my JEE score.

Faculty at IITM is good, but they give assignments a lot. Some of them are very supportive and are pretty flexible with the assignments as well. Most of them will provide you the notes and ppt of the syllabus. For the rest of the subjects you have to visit the library or turn towards the seniors for help.
