Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is prescribed by UGC and it is updated on a regular basis. The aim of the curriculum is to make the students well versed with the latest technologies and practical applications of them. My UG program not only made me technically sound but made me capable enough to handle project execution.

Placement Experience

Placements at IITM are okay, but not as good as it should be. Last year many students didn't get placed from the college. Although the college claim for 100% placements, and it also include students who went for business or higher studies. Even those who got placed are offered jobs like backend or tech support and not a software developer or web designing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is pretty expensive in terms of a UG program. One year fee is around 1.5 lacs per annum, which would have been understandable if they were providing equivalent placements.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is good, but there is a lot of scope of improvement. There is no proper facilities for sports and other extracurricular activities. Our college organises many events and activities featuring competitions in different disciplines. The library is okay, have books from different disciplines. Classrooms are fully digitised with high-speed Wi-Fi facility.

Hostel Facilities

The college doesn't provide the hostel facility, which is a major drawback since there are a number of students coming to study from outstations.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Admission

Admission is on the basis of the JEE Main exam scores. Applicants have to apply with their JEE scores and class 12 exam score. The seat allotment is done on the basis of common counseling.

Faculty

All faculty members are very experienced & knowledgeable. They are very friendly with the students and help the students with their doubts. They give best advice to students about their career. Standard of the teaching is good. Overall, I'm very much satisfied from the faculty provided by the college. The college conducts regular guest lectures for students.

Btech cse course curriculum is very good ... but there are few thing we need to notice .... in 1st sem ... there are many subject which is not required as a cse student ... it is just a waste of a year .... students can learn better coding in that 1 year .

placements are rather nice ,specially of tech branch is quite nice , from what semester we are eligible , most students are from 5th semester eligible for internship and from 7th for actual placements , lot of companies do visit : sometimes bain ,mckinsey ,samsung,xiamo. otherwise local companies tcs , tata etc . lot of startup are coming nowdays which are offering lot of things. highest package was 80 lpa around by samsusng as far i remember for ai, ml enginner . percentage of student getting placed for my branch is around 70%. my plans would be to get internship in 5th semester and then make it a ppo

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester the students get eligible for campus placements. Company that visited last time were amazon,infosys,zepto,paytm etc. The highest package which recently got placed was of around 60-80 lpa. And lowest was for 5lpa 90% students got offers from companies My plan after the degree is to start my own agriculture firm.

IITM Unveiled: My Insights and Impressions

yes I have enrolled in IPU college previously that was bpit and I got EEE there but I was not satisfied with the branch so I decided to take admission in ITM College in computer science branch. I was having few colleges in my mind before taking admission in IITM . VIPS, trinity, JIMS and Maharaja Surajmal institute of technology and Management were some of my preferences .
