I chose computer science and engineering in B. Tech. I think I have chosen the best college for this course. We have good facility of laboratories and they do take the flagship event called 'Narcodes' which helps in coding. And also we have a python boot camp event going on. There is also a new wing called RUAS innovation centre started in the college to help innovative minds. We have 2 kinds of elective subjects namely core electives and open electives. Core electives are related to the course and open electives are related to our hobbies. The core elective subjects that we have in 5th sem are distributive systems and network simulation. Open electives appear in final year. And when it comes to exam structure, we have 2 internals and 2 assignments per subject for each semester. And we have 10 lab reports per each lab and 1 internal for a semester. We have exams and labs frequently, which makes the day little complicated.

Placements cell looks after all the placement related things and we do have quite good companies coming up for placements. As i have finished my studies, so many of us have not placed to a well reputed companies. But, i hope the placements cell looks for better placements for upcoming batches. When it comes to internship, we have to search our own internship offers. College provides us with permission to choose whichever internship we are interested in. Average stipend time is 3 months.

The college organizes and hosts a number of workshops and seminars. Apart from them, technical fests have also been organized. Every year, cultural fest known as Akaira celebrated with great enthusiasm among the students. The cultural fest is a platform for the students to showcase their talent in various activities. Intercollege dance and fashion show is another platform to compete with talents from other backgrounds. The college also celebrates sports day, Kannada rajyotsava, independence day, ethnic day, thus giving equal importance to cultural values and physical activities.

For CET students - 24,750 per annum payable to college and 50,000 per annum payable for CET board. For management students- 2,00,000 per annum. CET fees is very much affordable when compared to the management fees. In my opinion, for merit list students the fee structure is feasible but for students who opt management seat, the fee structure is expensive as they will also have external expenses.

No, I haven't opted for any scholarships but there are many scholarships offered by our college like Epass. However, scholarships can be availed for SC/ST/OBC students. The information regarding the same can be obtained from the student affairs committee of the college.

The university had got a great positive environment everywhere. The college also conducts many sports activities like football, cricket, basketball, etc. The college also accounts for the conducting of many debates among students. Talking about the labs, the college is fully focused on practical knowledge, so overall labs are extremely good and interesting.

I have opted for Hostel and I personally like the hostel infrastructure when compared to college. I recommend people to join the hostel instead of staying out because facilities in hostel are so good but we have adjust with the food.

Not very helpful either.I'm the second batch so there isn't really an alumni network. Not very helpful either. But our seniors are very helpful in guiding us to new options in the industry as well as practical problems.

I have joined the college through KCET examinations. In 3rd round of KCET examination results, I have received this college seat and I enquired about the college and went in search of the college. The college is located at BEL Road, Bangalore. When i asked for my admission in this college, they have told me that the classes are held in peenya campus. FYI, peenya campus is in industrial area and i'm not satisfied with the location at which my classes are held.

Many of the faculty in our college are doctorates and senior professors who have a minimum experience of 5 years. Almost all faculty are student friendly and help us a lot. Their explanation is the best and they explain with realistic examples.
