Overall condition

I applied to many colleges but unfortunately didn't got confirmation except Bangabasi Morning College. It may have been due to my marks in Higher Secondary was not that strong. But this college, i.e., Bangabasi is a boon for those students who inspite of being good in studies couldn't score well in Boards. The admission procedure of this college is conducted through the West Bengal Centralised Admission Portal. The good aspect of this college is the fees is quite low which makes middle class students comfortable but the bad aspect is there is not a strictness on attendance due to which students doesn't attend classes. The admission process is totally based on merit and the dates are published on college website as well as on college dunia website where you can check about different colleges...the reason i preferred this college over other was because the English department in this college is quite good along with the good professors as compares to other colleges....well while choosing this college i used the collegedunia website as well as i followed the official website of college. The campus life in our college is quite good, there are more girls in the college as compared to boys and the college takes keen interest in competitions like singing, dancing, quiz as well as there are debate competition which takes place in the common room of our college, the extracurricular activities in the college is not so good because the college doesn't have their own playground for sports...Read More

Bangabasi college is overall a good college under calcutta university. .but the college gives a very less attention to the sports. .as the college doesn't have their own playground..as compared to other colleges in kolkata it is one of the best college which gives proper educational facilities in such a feasible fee structure...but the management must look after the jobs and placement opportunities...Read More
