Remarks

Positive- a very good college, well reputed, provides proper education, strict, follows procedures. If you are a nerd this college will be very good for such oeople. Other people who r not nerds might be a little difficult to adjust. No political union. Negative- if you want to actually enjoy college life then this college might not be the one. You have to be very sincere to excel in this college. Its a girls college lots of back biting and controversies. Stay away from such. No political union. Is negative if u think in certsin ways.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

My department that is zoology is quite good. The teachers r very much responsible. They complete there syllabus on time. And try there best to provide us with proper education. The examinations in college r taken very seriously. They take a mid term and a final college test before the university exams.

Placement Experience

5

This college provides bachelors in humanities and science and commerce. It has a pg department as well. This has no such particular placement oppurtunities. But the college is well reputed to give a good impression in any interview. Internship may be provided under any professor to phd student. To aspire to intern.

College Events

3

Our college doesnt not have such grans celebration like ither colleges do. The events celebrated are sports annual function, and fest(kaleidoscope). Though there is no surety if the fest will be conducted it deoends on the availablity of sponsors. The freshers and teachers' day r not celebrated as a whole but indivifually in different departments. You might not have a wonderful "college" experience. But the reputation and the education provided by the college will be worth it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very much feasible. It is a government girls college. The fees are very much affordable even by BPL students. The college also provides scholarship to students in need and to students who deserve. The fee is not mire than 4000 per annum. Varies in different departments.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided to students in need with proper proof provided. U have to fill out forms provided by HODs of departments or u can ask from the office. That is then provided to the principal. After an interview the scholarship is provided.

Campus Life

4.5

The labs are very good. With proper, high quality and modern instruments. Other activities are very much encourage if one is interested. There are many awards provided during annual programme in various feilds.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I am not a hostelite but i have friends who are. The hostel will obviously provide a good place to stay if u have awesome friends. Might be difficult to adjust in the beginning but you will be okay. There is no such ragging as in other college hostels. The facilities r regular. No ac or no other electric devices allowed except mobile charger. There is a study room, a visitors room. Bathrooms. The food - i wont say its great. But good enough to eat. And you can always order. Overall its a nice place to stay.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students of my department are very helpful. Me being a senior i hve seen many kinds of students. Who will help you and who will not. You just have to find the right person. But there is no ragging as such.

Admission

I filled up the admission form after my 12 results. My name was listed in the merit list. So i went on the counselling date and got admission. I applied for zoology honours. My 12 percebtage was more than the cut off. I was admitted in the general list.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is quite good. They help us as much as possible. Though there are certain people that take things personally. As a whole they do try their best to serve us. Some have a different kind personality. Like people of different personalities. You might like them or might not. Apart from that. The faculty on the basis of teaching is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
