Remarks

Overall it is a nice institute to learn everything about fashion & design. But there are a lot of rules and restrictions as it is an army college and it need to maintain the discipline. It has very compact sized population in the campus which makes the campus life a little boring.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Aifd is associated with the Bangalore university and thus follow the course of B.Sc FAD. It is a three year graduation course which includes all the fields related to fashion. There is a 2 year PG programme as well.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college has a record of 100% placements since last few years. It provides job in certain fields of fashion as per student's interest. Average Package is 2-3lks per annum. Yes it does provide internship in different fields, stipend may or may not be given as it depends on the type of work you are doing.

College Events

4.5

They are many events and in-house fashion shows held at college. Students are always encouraged to participate in other colleges events as well. The very special thing about the college is the informal kind of celebration of major festivals by the students themselves.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is pretty decent comparatively, according to me because this type of courses are generally demands high amount of fees. So, It is approximately 2.5 lks per year including hostel and mess charges which is feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, there is no scholarship as such offered by the college. But yes if you secure 1st place in academics you will be awarded with some amount and there are many such small rewards. Loan facility is not provided by the college.

Campus Life

5

Practical classes are far more interesting than the theory classes. Extracurricular activities such as modelling, dancing, singing etc while preparing for college fest and all keeps you engaged and prevents boredom.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes l have opted for hostel. There is a new girls hostel in the college now which is extremely satisfying. We are getting all the basic things like fully automatic washing machine, induction, kettle etc. over here. It's too comfortable to be in the hostel. The only negative thing is restrictions on timings.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a well maintained team of present students, faculty members and the alumni of the college to guide the students for their bright future and practical knowledge of the field. Students sometimes have their own contacts with seniors which helps them for internships and proper guidance.

Admission

Aifd follows an entrance exam based admission process. The students who will qualify the entrance exam need to get into merit list to get admission. Seats are reserved for army brats only. Few seats are also reserved for the students who belong to Karnataka state.

Faculty

4

I would say that the college has it's quality because of the faculty there. All the faculty members have good knowledge of their field and a good experience in teaching. Even the lab assistants do their jobs very well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Scaler School of Technology is one of the key reasons. I chose this program. The projects and assignments are very practical and similar real start-up-like curriculum prepares a well for job roles in the top deck. Companies' concepts like DSA, oops, DBMS operating system and even an interview role built into the structure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best part of Scaler School of Technology is its course and curriculum. The subjects we learn are very useful and match what tech companies are looking for today. Unlike other colleges, we don’t study topics like physics or chemistry that aren’t needed for computer science. Instead, we learn about things like blockchain, cybersecurity, machine learning, mechatronics, and more. This helps us keep up with the latest technology. Even though the schedule can be a bit busy, it’s worth it because we learn a lot. We always bring our laptops to class, which makes learning more practical . The curriculum and teaching style are already well-planned, and if anything needs to change, they fix it quickly . We have mid-term exams every 1.5 month and final exams every 3 months, which helps us stay on track.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is prepared for us, it does not feel like we are ready yet (im in first year) we need need a tad more time and depth in areas like DSA for interviews. the exam frequency is high, timings feel rushed into, specially with how difficult the exam is. more exams are application and concept-based, they are designed to test your 100% knowledge of the subject being taught.
