VSSUT Burla has 3 girls' hostels, each with its pros and cons.
Anuradha H.R: This hostel is for first-year students with 4 seater rooms. Excessive sharing may give a congested experience but it is also crucial for binding between peers. This hostel has all the basic amenities one could ask for.
Visakha H.R: Currently it’s the hostel that accommodates 3rd year students. It’s an old hostel with not very well-maintained rooms. The best part however is the direct LAN connection for 24 hrs. This hostel also has an excellent canteen facility.
Arundhati H.R: This is the biggest girls' hostel of VSSUT run by the government. All the facilities are run by students including the mess and common room. This hostel accommodates final-year BTech, 1st year MTech, and MSc students. As it’s recently renovated, this hostel offers the best facilities.
All the 3 hostels are in close proximity to the college and students can stay out till 7 PM. Hope the information was useful.
