SPPU SOL has opened the application window for admission 2023. Applicants must apply through the official website @unipune.ac.in/SoL, till August 30 2023.
New Delhi: The School of Open and Distance Learning (SPPU SOL) has begun the admissions process for its various postgraduate programs for the first year of the July-August session 2023-24, till August 31, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal @unipune.ac.in/SoL, till the deadline.
SPPU SOL offers UG courses such as BA in Marathi, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Education, Economics, Political Science, History, Sociology, Geology, Public Administration, and Psychology, and BBA. Whereas PG courses such as MA, MCom, and MBA are offered.
Candidates's merit scores in the last qualifying examination is taken into consideration rather than taking entrance tests, for SPPU SOL admission. Interested candidates can submit the online application form for admission till August 31, 2023. However, the last date for PG admission registration is August 30, 2023.

SPPU SOL Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Name of the Courses | Eligibility Criteria |

BA | For BA admission, students need to have achieved 45-50% marks in their 12th-grade exams from a recognized board. |
BBA | Candidates must possess a 10+2 qualification from a recognized board of Higher Secondary education with 45-50% marks. |
MA | To be eligible for this program at the university, candidates need to have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Selection for admission will be determined by evaluating the candidate's performance in their preceding qualifying examinations. |
MCom | Aspirants aiming to join the MCom course are not obligated to participate in an entrance examination. Admission will be granted based on the criteria of the merit list. It's important to note that only candidates meeting the eligibility requirements are eligible to apply for admission. |
MBA | Applicants need to hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any field of study, with a minimum score of 50% in the relevant subject. The university does not conduct an entrance exam for admission to this course. |

SPPU SOL PG Admission 2023: Documents Required
All the students who have applied online for admission in the first-year BA, BCom MA/ MCom will have to submit the following documents to the respective Study Centre on or before 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 2, 2023.
- Admission Form (Study Centre Copy)
- Aadhaar Card Copy (Xerox)
- H.S.C. / Diploma / Graduation Examination Marksheet Copy (Xerox)
- Printed Copy of ABC ID
- One of the following –
- L.C. / T.C. / Migration Certificate
It is important for all students to be aware that their admission will not be confirmed unless the necessary documents are submitted within the specified timeframe. In cases where a student does not possess the Leaving Certificate (LC), Transfer Certificate (TC), or Migration Certificate at the time of submitting the admission form to the Study Centre, an undertaking in the provided format should be submitted to the Study Centre.
Furthermore, students admitted in years other than the 1st Year (2nd Semester / 2nd/3rd Year) should diligently keep a printed copy of the admission form for their records, and it is not obligatory to submit the form to the Study Centre.
