The Creative Arts Education Society (CAES), operating through its constituent academic facilities of Pearl Academy, has partnered with the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Institute of National Importance.

New Delhi: Pearl Academy has entered into a collaborative partnership with the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD). This collaboration is set to bring a wide range of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses to students on all its campuses including Delhi West, Delhi South, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Jaipur. This agreement was signed on September 5, 2023, and the degrees will be awarded effective 2024 intake.

The collaboration between Pearl Academy and RGNIYD underscores the value of collaboration in the education sector. The institute offers various programs such as Bachelor of Design (B Des), MDesign (MDes), BBA, and MBA in several fields such as fashion, design, media, communication, and other creative design programs.

The academy mentioned that the UG program offered by CAES at its campuses is of a duration of four years and also provides specializations. The Bachelor of Design includes a wide range of subjects such as fashion design, fashion styling, fashion communication, interior design, communication design, and product design. Apart of these, the institute also offers BBA regular and BBA in fashion and luxury management for three years.

PG Program offered by the institute are MDesign in fashion design, fashion styling, fashion communication, interior design, communication design, and product design. The institute also offers an MBA program in fashion and luxury management, MDes regular, and MBA regular.

Pearl Academy, consists of a hi-tech infrastructure that primarily focuses on global exposure, tech expertise, and life skills. The institute is partnered with leading industry bodies such as the Fashion Design Council of India, the Association of Designers of India, and the Institute of Indian Interior Designers.

According to Debashis Dey, director of RGNIYD, “We are excited to partner with the Creative Arts Education Society as we believe that students will benefit greatly from the institute’s focus on internationalism, entrepreneurship, and employability as well as meeting the needs of the design, fashion, business, and retail industries. This MoU will only further our goal.”
