The NTA is going to conduct the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 from April 2 to April 9, 2026. The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 April 2 Shift 1 and Shift 2 analysis helps students understand how difficult each paper is in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- This analysis is based on the memory-based questions and real student feedback after the exam ends.
- It is expected that around 15-17 lakh students will appear for the JEE Main 2026 April Session.
- Based on JEE Main 2026 January Session 1, the JEE Main 2026 April Session is expected to be moderate to tough in difficulty level.
- On the basis of January Shifts, it is expected that a score of 160-180 can give 98-99 percentile depending on the shift-wise difficulty level.

How to Calculate JEE Main 2026 Raw Score?
- You can calculate the JEE Main Raw Score with the help of the final answer key by simply using the marking scheme.
- As per the marking scheme, +4 marks will be given to each correct answer, and -1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Predictions for April Attempt Marks vs Percentile
As per the User on r/JEE thread on Reddit, for April session, 180 marks can result in 99 percentile, whereas 160 marks can result in 97 percentile.
