UPES Dehradun has opened the Round 4 admission cycle for its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Prospective students looking to join the School of Business, School of Engineering, School of Design, and School of Law can now submit their applications through the official portal.

UPES has streamlined the process by offering both entrance-based and merit-based (non-exam) pathways for diverse academic backgrounds.

The application window for most major programs is set to close on 29th April 2026, with the online entrance examinations scheduled for the first week of May.

Additionally, candidates for Design programs must note the upcoming offline portfolio presentations scheduled across multiple cities in India to finalize their selection.

The university will hold offline events for the B.Des. (Bachelor of Design) and M.Des. (Master of Design) programs, focusing on Portfolio Presentations and Personal Interviews. These events are scheduled for New Delhi on 5th April and other cities, including Dehradun, Noida, Indore, Kochi, Patna, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Guwahati, on 6th April.

Reporting times for these design candidates vary between 08:45 AM and 09:30 AM depending on the location.

Candidates require a minimum of 50% marks in Class X and XII. For technical programs like B.Tech Mathematics and Computing, the requirement increases to 70%. Selection is based on UPES Dehradun entrance exam ranks (UPESEAT/ UPESMET) or non-exam pathways like JEE Mains (minimum 50 percentile), CLAT (under 20,000 AIR), or Board Merit (minimum 80%). The application fee is ₹1,350.
