NEST offers admission to 5-year Integrated MSc programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology at NISER and CEBS.

NEST 2026 Registration Deadline Extended

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2026 registration deadline has been extended to April 8, 2026 (11:30 PM). The application process, which began on January 5, 2026, is conducted online for admission to the Integrated MSc programmes at NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai.

NEST 2026 Eligibility Criteria & Application Fee

Candidates must have studied at least three subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology in Classes XI and XII. NEST Applicants should have passed Class XII in 2024 or 2025, or be appearing in 2026, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST/Divyangjan categories).

The application fee is ₹700 for female candidates and SC/ST/Divyangjan applicants, while ₹1,400 is applicable for male candidates from the UR/OBC categories.

NISER offers a total of 200 seats for the Integrated MSc programme. UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai offers approximately 57 seats.

What’s Next for NEST 2026 Aspirants?

With the NEST 2026 registration deadline extended to April 8, candidates should complete their application process at the earliest to avoid last-minute issues. After the application window closes, the correction facility will be available from April 17 to April 18, 2026.

Candidates can then download their NEST 2026 admit card from May 15, 2026, followed by the examination scheduled on June 6, 2026. After the exam, results will be declared on June 24, 2026, and further admission processes will begin.
