Indian Institute of Technology Madras has Extended the Deadline for Submission of Application by Candidates for Admission into four-year Programme in BS in Electronic Systems, Read Details Below!

New Delhi: IIT Madras has extended the deadline for admission 2023 application submission for its 4-year programme in BS (Electronic Systems). The programme was launched in June and students can register themselves on or before August 27.
The programme at IIT Madras is designed focusing on the industry-specific requirements and skill sets that an individual must have.
For joining the program candidates do not need JEE scores. The students must only have completed 12th grade with physics and mathematics to apply for this program. There is no bar on the age or geographic location of the candidate. The batch will start from September 2023.
Upon completion of applications, the candidates will be given access to 4-weeks of content taught by the IIT Madras faculties. Based upon this content, a qualifier exam will be held for the candidates in online mode. The course content, tutorials, doubt-clearing sessions and assignment tasks will be held online, while quizzes, exams and lab classes will be conducted in offline mode. The laboratory sessions will be in physical mode at the IIT Madras campus.
Prof S Aniruddhan, faculty of Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras, and coordinator of the programme, said that by attending thi program the students will gain knowledge, know the fundamentals and essential skills that will help them to work in different industries.
The students shall also be provided with opportunities to do internships in various companies to help them gain knowledge and experience. These internships may be in offline mode or online or hybrid for a term of 3-8 months.
