The IIT Bombay will commence the application process for MTech and PhD admissions for the academic session 2026–27 from March 25, 2026. Candidates seeking admission through GATE 2026 scores can apply online via the institute’s official portal.
According to the official schedule, the last date to submit applications is April 10, 2026, and candidates can apply with a late fee until April 16, 2026. The institute will release the shortlist for written tests and interviews in April, with selection rounds scheduled in May. The new academic session is expected to commence on July 27, 2026.
