IIM Jammu and the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) signs an MoU at the IGNCA's regional center in Jammu and Kashmir's office. Professor B S Sahay signed the agreement to promote research in art and Indian ethos.

New Delhi: IIM Jammu and the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) inked an MoU at the IGNCA's regional center in Jammu and Kashmir's office in Old Janpath, New Delhi. The agreement was signed by Professor B S Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, and Dr Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary of IGNCA.

Speaking on this occasion, Director of IIM Jammu, Professor BS Sahay, expressed his enthusiasm and stated, "This collaboration with IGNCA marks the beginning of a five-year artistic journey. We are committed to promoting research in art and Indian ethos, creating a unique intersection between academia and cultural exploration."

At the event, IGNCA also established a noteworthy MoU with AIIMS Jammu, enhancing collaborative efforts in the region. Professor (Dr) Shakti Gupta, Executive Director of AIIMS Jammu joined remotely, marking the commencement of this innovative partnership.

Dr Sachchidanand Joshi echoed the enthusiasm, articulating IGNCA's delight in collaboration with IIM Jammu. Their joint effort aims to deepen understanding of Indian art, culture, and scholarly exploration.

Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr. Priyanka Mishra (IPS), Director, and Admin. IGNCA, Ms. Shruti Awasthi, Regional Director, Regional Centre, Jammu and Kashmir and senior officials of IGNCA.
