Great Lakes Institute of Management To Accept NMAT Scores for PGPM

New Delhi: The Great Lakes Institute of Management has announced to consider the NMAT scores for admission to the full-time one-year PGPM Course for the academic session 2024-25.

Currently, the Great Lakes Institute of Management PGPM and PGDM Admissions for the academic year 2024-25 are open. The application deadline for both programs is December 1, 2023.

Earlier, the institute accepted PGPM Admission only based on CAT, XLRI’s XAT, and the GMAT scores. 

Great Lakes Institute Of Management PGPM & PGDM Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria 

For the PGPM Program candidates must follow the eligibility criteria mentioned below

  • Applicants can apply with a valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/NMAT score, including scores from previous years.
  • Candidates with 2-10 years of work experience (by April 30, 2024) are eligible to apply.

However, for GLIM PGDM Admissions candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates can apply with a valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT score, including scores from previous years.
  • Candidates with 0-3 years of work experience (by April 30, 2024) are eligible to apply for PGDM.

All About Great Lakes Institute Of Management PGPM Course

Regarding the PGPM program, the officials stated that the program has consistently achieved 100% placement rates in the GLIM Placements, and the average annual CTC for the graduating class of 2023 was 18.1 lakhs. 

Recruiters included companies such as McKinsey & Company, Mahindra & Mahindra, HSBC, Berger Paints, Infosys Consulting, Junglee Games, Olam, Bain, ZS Associates, Accenture, ADP, Aditya Birla, Bridgestone, Bristlecone, Deloitte, Cognizant, FedEx, HCL, Dell, Incedo, Optum, Tiger Analytics, Lowe’s, among others.

Gautam Lakhamraju, admissions director and COO at Great Lakes Institute of Management mentioned that the institution had performed remarkably well in the past year, achieving exceptional placement and admission results. 

He further noted a significant surge in overall full-time program applications, which witnessed an 18% increase compared to the previous year, reaching an all-time high. 

He pointed out that this rise in applications provides the opportunity to enhance student diversity across various backgrounds and to select well-deserving candidates who will contribute significantly to the peer group experience.

He mentioned being a long-standing member institution of GMAC and observing the evolution, quality, and availability of the exam. This year, the decision was made to include the NMAT exam as an additional qualifying examination for admission to their one-year PGPM. 

Furthermore, he expressed enthusiasm about reinstating the physical interview process for the PGPM, which had been conducted online since the onset of the pandemic.
