What is VITEEE Counselling 2026?
The VITEEE counselling will facilitate admissions to around 20+B.Tech courses in the VIT group of institutions. The courses offered are divided into two groups:
- Group A: The group A branches are usually the lower-demand branches, which include Civil Engineering and Bioengineering. Biotechnology etc.
- Group B: The group B branches are usually the higher-demand branches, which include CSE, AI & ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, etc.
The counselling will be fully online and common for all four campuses. The admission will be strictly rank-based, as there is no management quota or direct admission in VIT.

The VITEEE counselling is a fully online process conducted by VIT for admission to undergraduate engineering courses.
Result & Rank Check
- The candidates can check the VITEEE 2026 results by logging in to the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in.
Counselling Registration
- Visit the official counselling portal at viteee.vit.ac.in.
- Pay the non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 5.900/-. This will be adjusted later in the tuition fee.
- For phase 1, a Rs. 50k demand draft to be submitted in favour of VIT payable at Vellore.
- Higher phases may require a Rs. 2 lakh demand draft.
Choice Filling & Locking
- Candidates have to select the campus, program or branch, and fee category.
- Candidates can fill in as many choices as they want.
- The choices should be filled in the order of preference. Once locked, the choices cannot be modified.
- The choice filling window will be available for around 2-4 days per phase.
Seat Allotment
The VITEEE seat allotment will be automatic and online on the official website of VIT. It will be based on:

Fee Payment & Confirmation
- The candidates have to pay the advance tuition fee online or via a demand draft.
