How to Fill VITEEE Application Form 2026

The VITEEE 2026 application was submitted entirely online at viteee.vit.ac.in. The process had two phases: new registration to receive an Application Number, followed by form filling, document upload, and fee payment.

Phase 1: New Registration

  1. Visit viteee.vit.ac.in and click "Apply Now" on the homepage.
  2. Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID exactly as they appear on your Class 10 certificate.
  3. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent via SMS.
  4. Set a strong password. Your Application Number was generated immediately on successful registration — note it down before leaving the page.
  5. Save your Application Number and password securely. They were required for all future logins, slot booking, admit card download, result, and counselling.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

  1. Log in at viteee.vit.ac.in using your Application Number and password.
  2. Fill in personal details: full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, mobile number, and email ID.
  3. Fill in academic details: Class 10 and Class 12 board name, year of passing, roll number, and percentage of marks.
  4. Select your preferred exam cities — up to three cities in order of preference.
  5. Upload your scanned passport-size photograph and signature in JPEG format within the specified file size.
  6. Review all details carefully — cross-check your name, date of birth, subject combination, and photo before proceeding.
  7. Pay the application fee of ₹1,350 (Indian students) or USD 90 equivalent (NRI/abroad) via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
  8. Download and save the confirmation page and fee receipt from your dashboard immediately after payment.
  9. Slot Booking (separate step, post-registration): After the registration window closed, VIT opened a separate slot booking window from April 17–19, 2026 where students selected their specific exam date, shift, and test centre.

Note: Submit only one application. VIT rejected multiple applications submitted by the same student, and the application fee for duplicate submissions was not refunded.

Download and keep your confirmation page safe — it was required for slot booking, admit card download, exam entry, and counselling.

Check all details before submitting — once the correction window closed, no changes were accepted under any circumstances.

VITEEE Application Fee 2026

Unlike most national entrance exams, VITEEE charged a single flat application fee with no category-based discount. The ₹1,350 fee applied equally to all Indian students — General, OBC, SC, ST, and PwD students all paid the same amount.

Category Application Fee
All Indian Students (General / OBC / SC / ST / PwD)₹1,350
NRI / Students Based AbroadUSD 90 equivalent in INR

Payment was accepted via: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI. No offline payment mode (cheque, demand draft, or cash) was accepted.

Note: The application fee was non-refundable under all circumstances — including rejection of the application, not appearing for the exam, withdrawal from the process, or non-participation in counselling after fee payment.

Note: If a payment failed at the gateway, wait 48–72 hours for the auto-refund to be credited before retrying. Paying again immediately after a failed transaction risked double deduction, which required a separate bank dispute to resolve.

The application fee was non-refundable — even if you withdrew your application or did not appear for the exam.

If your payment fails, do not retry immediately — wait 48–72 hours for the auto-refund before making a fresh payment.

VITEEE Application Form Correction 2026

VIT University provided two correction opportunities for VITEEE 2026: an Edit button in the application dashboard available throughout the registration period, and a dedicated form correction window in March 2026 for students who had already submitted and paid.

What Could Be Corrected

  • Personal details: name (minor spelling errors), date of birth, gender
  • Academic details: board name, year of passing, subject combination
  • Photograph and signature (if the uploaded image was rejected for quality reasons)
  • Exam city preferences
  • Category (SC/ST versus General) in limited circumstances, subject to document verification

What Could Not Be Changed

  • Registered email ID (used as the primary login credential)
  • Registered mobile number
  • Exam applied for (VITEEE is a single-exam registration; the cycle and year could not be changed)

How to Make Corrections

  1. Log in at viteee.vit.ac.in using your Application Number and password.
  2. Click the "EDIT" button on your application dashboard.
  3. Make the required changes in the relevant fields.
  4. Save and re-submit the form.
  5. Download the updated confirmation page and keep it for your records.

Students who missed both correction windows could raise a query through the "Need Help" section in the application dashboard or contact VIT’s admissions helpline at 044-46277555. Corrections at that stage were handled case by case and were not guaranteed.

Note: Once the correction window closed, no changes were accepted through the online portal. Students who missed the deadline had to contact VIT’s support team directly — and corrections at that point were entirely at VIT’s discretion.

Check all details before submitting — once the correction window closes, no changes are accepted under any circumstances.

Ques. How do students register for VITEEE?

Ans. Registration for VITEEE is done entirely online at viteee.vit.ac.in. Visit the portal, click "Apply Now", enter your basic details to receive an Application Number, then log in to complete the form, upload your photograph and signature, and pay the ₹1,350 application fee. For VITEEE 2026, this process was open from October 24, 2025 to April 12, 2026.

Ques. What documents were required for the VITEEE 2026 application form?

Ans. You needed a scanned passport-size photograph (JPEG, 10 KB–200 KB), scanned signature (JPEG, 10 KB–200 KB), Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, a valid photo ID, and a category certificate if you belonged to SC/ST or were from J&K, Ladakh, or a North Eastern state.

Ques. What was the VITEEE 2026 application fee?

Ques. Can students submit more than one VITEEE application form?

Ans. No. VIT allows only one application per student. Multiple applications submitted by the same student are rejected, and the fee for duplicate submissions is not refunded. Complete your application in a single session to avoid any reason to re-apply.

Ques. What should I do if my VITEEE application fee payment fails?

Ans. Do not retry immediately. Wait 48–72 hours for the failed transaction amount to be auto-refunded to your account. Once you see the reversal in your bank statement, attempt the payment again.
