What is VITEEE Slot Booking?
VITEEE Slot Booking is the process through which candidate apply for their preferred test center, time and date. The porcess is only allowed for the studen who have sucessfully registerd for VITEEE Application process 2024. The process of slot booking is done on the basis of first-come-first serve. Students can login into the VIT Online Test Booking System with their Application number and Password. The candidate can select their preferred exam date and time based on the avilability of the slots.
Important Points Related to VITEEE 2024 Slot Booking:
Certain documents are required during the time of VITEEE Slot Booking:
- Exam date and state(Country in case of International student)
- VITEEE 2024 Exam date and time.
- Subjects for VITEEE 2024(Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
- Exam center details.
Details required for Slot Booking:
- Candidates should select the Exam date, Session & Venue as per the schedule.
- In case of non-availability of preferred slots, choose any alternative center/date/time slot.
- A confirmation mail will be sent to the candidate's email address after booking the slot through the Online Test Booking System.
- For both OMR and online applicants, the password will be sent by email, to the email address mentioned in the application form. Therefore, it is mandatory to give a valid e-mail address.
- The Online Test Booking Password must be kept confidential. Do not disclose it to others or write them down or store them in a file on your computer or as an autosave password.

Steps to Book VITEEE 2024 Online Slot
The steps for booking a schedule are mentioned below. Candidates must complete all the steps to successfully book the slot for appearing in VITEEE 2024.
Step 1: Log-in
- The first step of slot booking is to visit the official website i.e. vit.ac.in
- Login using the valid details like Application Number, Password and Captcha.
- Then a new window will open where you have to Confirm the Application Details.
- Click on ‘Book a seat’ (if you haven’t booked a slot earlier).
Step 2: Filling the Details
- In the second step, candidates have to provide their details like Test Name, State/Country, Test City, Subject code for which they will appear.
- After that, candidates have to choose their test date preference because the exam is conducted on multiple dates so candidates can choose the date as per their convenience.
- Then you will get the option to select the Test Center.
- Now, candidates will be able to check the number of available seats, in a particular slot on a particular date and test center.
- Click on the Book button to book your slot and move ahead with VITEEE 2023 Slot Booking process.
Step 3: Confirming the Booking
- Candidates need to confirm the booking.
- VIT Slot booking OTBS is a real-time application, hence, candidates need to book the slot within a minute.
- If a candidate fails to do the same in 1 minute then he/she may lose that particular option of the exam center.
How to Retrieve VITEEE 2024 Application Number or Password?
In any case, you do not remember your application number or password then you can retrieve it by following the simple steps:
- Click on the forgot password link.
- Then, enter VITEEE 2023 Application Number and click on ‘Get Password’.
- The system will display your password or send it to your registered mobile number or email id.
Process to Regain VITEEE 2024 Application Number –
- Click on forgot Application Link.
- Next, Enter the required credentials i.e. Name, DOB, Mobile Number, E-mail ID, and Security Code.
- By doing so you will be able to retrieve your application number.
How to Download VITEEE 2024 Admit Card?
- On successful VITEEE 2023 Slot Booking, candidates will be able to see their VITEEE Admit Card displayed on the screen and the same is sent to the candidate on their email id.
- Candidates will also receive the confirmation on their SMS.
- If you are not able to check your admit card then go to the Home Page of Online Slot Booking.
- You will see the link for your E-Admit Card
- Click on the link. Download the admit card and take a printout.
VITEEE 2024 Exam Day Instructions
- No electronic devices like mobile phones, paging devices, calculators, spy cameras, etc will be allowed in the exam center or examination hall.
- Candidates will not be allowed to carry any text material, printed, or written, bits of papers or any material except the e-Admit card inside the test hall.
- Candidates should reach the exam center 1 hour prior to the time mentioned in the e-Admit card.
- Candidates should register their names at the registration counter and carry the e-Admit card and valid ID proof for verification.
- Candidates will have to sign the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator. Biometric registration is a part of attendance and hall ticket verification process and VIT reserves the right to carry out the same either before or during the examination
- Candidates will not be allowed to leave the test hall until the completion of the exam time. The duration of the entrance examination will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
- It must be ensured that the allotted computer is switched on and if there is any problem with the computer, it should be informed to the invigilator immediately.
- The questions appearing on the screen will be in English. All questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) types.
VITEEE 2024 Slot Booking FAQs
Ques. If I haven’t submitted my VITEEE 2024 application form. Can I still book the exam slot?
Ans. The online test booking system will be available only for those eligible candidates who have submitted VITEEE application form complete in all respects on or before the last date mentioned.
Ques. I missed the slot booking date, can I still apply for VITEEE 2024?
Ans. It is the responsibility of the candidates to book their test schedule for VITEEE 2024 in OTBS within the given time frame. The University will not be held accountable for the non-bookings. The entrance test fee will not be refunded under any circumstances for such cases.
Ques. I want to change my slot, can I do so?
Ans. A slot once booked cannot be changed. Request for change of test city, date, slot and subject will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Ques. I have forgotten my password and cannot Log-in. What do I do?
Ans. If you forget your password, you can get a new password by pressing on the ‘Forgot Password’ on the Login page. You will then have to fill in your Application Number when asked. You will then get the new password on the e-mail id you provided and on the phone number you provided.
Ques. I have forgotten my application Number and cannot log in for VITEEE 2024, What do I do?
Ans. If you forget your VITEEE 2024 Application Number you can find it by pressing on ‘Forgot Application Number’ on the Login page. You will then be directed to a new page where they will be asked to enter their details and then you can get your application number again
