Every year, around 15,000 to 19,000 law aspirants who wish to pursue BA LLB and LLM programs from NLU Delhi take the AILET exam. Although this number is lower than the number of students taking the CLAT exam (50,000-60,000), AILET's applicant-to-seat ratio is approximately 170:1. This makes AILET one of the most difficult law entrance exams.
