DME Tripura Announces Additional MBBS Seats and Extends Choice Locking Deadline for Tripura NEET UG Counseling 2024

The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura, has issued an important notification for candidates participating in the NEET UG 2024 counseling. As part of the Round-3 Tripura State NEET UG 2024 Counseling, two additional MBBS seats have been added to the provisional seat matrix:

• One SC category seat at Agartala Government Medical College, Tripura.

• One ST category seat at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal, Manipur.

This update provides candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories with more opportunities to secure a seat in prestigious medical institutions.

Extension of Choice Filling and Locking Deadline:

In light of the updated seat matrix, the deadline for choice filling and locking for all registered candidates has been extended. The new deadline is now set for October 16, 2024, at 10 AM. This gives candidates additional time to revise and lock their choices.

Moreover, all previously locked choices have been unlocked, allowing candidates to recheck and make necessary modifications. It is important that candidates carefully review and finalize their choices before the deadline, as choices that remain unlocked by 10 AM on October 16, 2024, will be automatically locked.
