TANUVAS Begins UG Admission 2026-27; Apply by June 17

Tamil Nadu Animal and Veterinary Sciences University (TANUVAS) has opened online applications for undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. Eligible candidates can apply for BVSc & AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) and B.Tech programs through the official admission portal. The last date to apply is June 17, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Admission is open only for NEET-qualified candidates, and the university has also released the fee structure for both programs. Programs Offered

The university is offering the BVSc & AH program, which is a 5.5-year course including one year of compulsory internship, along with 4-year B.Tech programs in agricultural and allied disciplines. These programs focus on practical learning, laboratory exposure, and industry-oriented training to prepare students for careers in veterinary sciences, agriculture, and related sectors. Placement support is also available for graduates.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for TANUVAS UG admissions must have a valid NEET qualification, as this is mandatory for admission. Applicants should have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), depending on the program requirements. The minimum age should be 17 years, while the maximum age is 25 years as of December 31 of the admission year. Applicable category-based relaxations will be provided as per government rules.

How to Apply?

Candidates need to visit adm.tanuvas.ac.in, select their category (Tamil Nadu State / NRI / Foreign National), and complete the online registration process. Applicants must fill in personal and academic details carefully, upload required documents including Class 12 marksheet, NEET scorecard, certificates, and ID proof, pay the application fee online, and submit the application before the deadline.

Application Fee

For BVSc & AH admissions, the application fee is INR 600 for General category candidates and INR 300 for reserved category applicants. For B.Tech admissions, candidates need to pay INR 1,200 (General) and INR 600 (Reserved categories). The fee is payable online only and is non-refundable.
