CUSAT MBA 2026 PI Shortlist Released; Interviews Scheduled From June 3 to June 8

The Cochin University of Science and Technology School of Management Studies has released the provisional shortlist for personal interviews for MBA Admissions 2026. Candidates can now download the shortlist from the official admissions portal. The interviews are scheduled to be conducted from June 3 to June 8, 2026, across multiple dates and time slots at the School of Management Studies campus in Kochi.

The personal interview round is an important stage of the MBA admission process. Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic background, communication skills, awareness of current affairs, and motivation for pursuing an MBA degree. Each shortlisted candidate has been assigned a specific interview date and reporting time according to their registration number.

• Candidates must visit the official admissions portal at admissions.cusat.ac.in to access the interview shortlist.
• They need to enter their registration number and date of birth to download the document.
• The shortlist contains important details including the candidate’s name, registration number, gender, and reservation category.
• Applicants are advised to verify all information carefully and keep a printed copy for the interview process.

Candidates appearing for the interview must carry both original and photocopied versions of all required documents. These include academic certificates, mark sheets, and a valid government-issued identity proof such as Aadhar Card, Passport, or Driving License.

Applicants should also bring the downloaded interview shortlist, admit card, and certificates related to extracurricular activities, sports achievements, or professional certifications. Carrying a properly organized portfolio highlighting academic achievements and career goals is also recommended.

CUSAT MBA Interview Process and Evaluation Criteria

The personal interview will mainly focus on undergraduate academics, current affairs awareness, communication skills, and career objectives. Candidates may be asked questions related to their academic discipline, professional aspirations, and reasons for choosing an MBA program. The interview duration is expected to be around 15 to 20 minutes per candidate.

Applicants are also advised to prepare answers related to their strengths, weaknesses, achievements, and long-term career goals. Reaching the interview venue at least 15 minutes before the reporting time is strongly recommended.

What’s Next for Students

The final merit list is expected to be announced after the completion of all interview rounds in early June 2026. Candidates shortlisted in the final selection process will move to the online counselling and seat allocation stage through the official CUSAT admissions portal. Admission confirmation will be completed only after document verification and fee payment.
