GITAM Admission 2026 Round 4 Closes May 29; Exam on May 31

GITAM Deemed to be University has announced that Round 4 registration for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is ongoing till May 29, 2026. Candidates can apply online at gitam.edu for admission to 120+ programmes across engineering, management, science, law, pharmacy, and other disciplines.

The entrance exam (GAT) and personal interviews for all UG and PG programmes are scheduled for May 31, 2026. Results will be announced on the same day, with the last date for fee payment for scholarship candidates set for June 8, 2026.

The application fee varies based on the programme selected. UG Engineering and PG Management programmes require ₹1,200, while other UG and PG programmes (Architecture, Law, Pharmacy, Humanities, Science, Lateral Entry Engineering, Paramedical, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Management) require ₹600.

GITAM Round 4 Admission 2026 Important Dates

The GITAM Admission Test (GAT) is conducted in online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for a total duration of 150 minutes. The exam consists of two sections with objective-type multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks for correct answers with no negative marking.

Eligibility criteria require candidates to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% (or 55% for CBSE/ICSE candidates). For postgraduate programmes, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum 50% aggregate or 5.0 CGPA from a recognized university.

How to Apply for GITAM Admissions 2026?

• Candidates must visit the official GITAM admission portal at gitam.edu to register.
• Click the "Register" button and provide basic personal information including full name, email address, mobile number, and state of residence.
• After registration, applicants need to fill in their current academic qualifications, including school name, subjects studied, preferred campus, and year of graduation.
• Select the preferred programmes from the eligible list based on your academic background and stream.

Candidates must upload scanned copies of required documents during the application process, including 10+2 mark sheet, bachelor's degree certificate (for PG applicants), and valid photo ID. Ensure all documents are clear and legible to avoid rejection during verification.

How to Download GAT Admit Card?

Candidates must download their admit card from the official GITAM portal using their registration number, date of birth, and password.

The admit card is mandatory for entry into the examination hall and must be carried along with a valid photo ID (Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, or School/College ID). Candidates should arrive at the test centre at least one hour before the scheduled exam time.

No textual material, calculators, electronic watches, mobile phones, or any other electronic devices are permitted inside the examination hall. Smoking and consumption of food/beverages are strictly prohibited.

GAT Results and Counselling Process

Results will be announced on May 31, 2026, and candidates can check their scores by logging into the admission portal. Merit lists will be prepared by participating universities and organizations based on GAT scores and interview performance.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling where they can select their preferred campus and programme. Admission will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis for scholarship candidates, so early registration and fee payment are crucial.
