Dr. Bijay Singh is the Director of the Subhash Institute of Technology. He holds a Doctoral degree in Education.

What is the latest program that you are offering in your institute which will help students outperform and stand apart from the crowd.

We have a number of courses that are being offered at Subhash Institute of Technology, both Management and Technical Courses and we are working on adding more courses which will help the Student to choose from and Pursue their Career.

What are the best practices in the course you’re offering?

We as a team are working for the overall improvement of the students. We are not only focused on providing theoretical knowledge but also on providing practical knowledge. As once they pass out from our college, they get exposed to the external world where they have to apply their knowledge. So, in their learning phase we are focused in providing them proper knowledge as well as working on the case studies so that they can apply whatever they have learnt during their classes.

Being the Director of Subhash Institute Of Technology, what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

Leadership is a process of making the team get together for a desired goal. Leadership is basically an approach of showing the team the way to achieve it. It’s not a singular input task. We must get inputs from other members so that proper planning and execution can be done and must try to lead by example. As far as my leadership style is concerned, I believe in leading by example. If you plan something and you make your team show how things can be done it is easier for them to repeat the same thing and make the task easy.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the college and the students are?

As a Director of the esteemed college and simultaneously for other group of colleges, I have a lot of roles, I take care of the administrative job starting from admissions to maintain discipline, tracking the curriculum completion, maintaining good relationships between HOD’S & Teachers, Teachers and Students, taking care of the financial aspects of the college. Taking care of the placements part as well and to follow the Instructions from the university. I am also NAAC Coordinator and placement in charge of the College.

What do you see as Subhash Institute of Technology’s strength?

The major strength of the college is Good Number and Quality of Faculties who are always dedicated to help the Students and Make the Students Industry Ready with the Guidance and are acting as a Torch bearer for the Future and last but not the least the students themselves are the biggest strength.

What do you think should be the College’s top priority over the next ten years?

We are continuously working on adopting different courses which are new to the students and are available in the university. We are first of all trying to reach the students with the current courses and are continuously working to get affiliated to new courses. We are working to have some value added courses and to start with some Pharma courses. In the next five years, we are also trying to have Nursing Courses and different Paramedical Courses such as OT Assistant, Dresser, and so on.

Any insights into how your university could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

We at Subhash Institute are having different Scholarship Campaigns. Application for Scholarship from students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class, and Low-Income Group is forwarded to the concerned authorities for sanction. Deserving students may also be recommended for merit scholarships to the authorities and donors of student aid. We are also Providing Scholarships upto 40% for Girls Candidates and Sports Person.

What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?

We have Wifi enabled classrooms with spacious classrooms. We have six laboratories for different streams which are available in the college. We have auditorium, seminar hall and library facilities to support the students during their tenure.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

One Suggestion that I would like to give to the current youth is that they must try to be practical in their approach and must not just focus on being theoretical. They must try to be a responsible citizen and must try to incorporate the learnings in their practical life.
