Ms. Vaishali Saxena is the Admission Manager of Rajasthan Swayat Shasan PG Mahavidhyalaya. She holds a B.Sc. and a PGDCA degree as well. Her work is to give proper information regarding the college’s admission process and assist applicants with the process.

What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students? 

As the admission-in-charge, my main duty and responsibility is to give proper information regarding the admissions process. The main duty and responsibility of my position is to ensure that the college reaches the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities through the careful management and development of the college. I coordinate the process of all students, from submission of applications to results and examination results; ensure that applications are processed promptly and within the college's set standards; and update and maintain a database of students’ information.

How do you establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty and team members?

I always motivate students for their good work and appreciate them too. I always help students if they are stuck in some work. As I am a professional, I always respect my team members and faculty members. We have always healthy discussions that are more productive, innovative and focused on personal development. 

How do you strategise and update the curriculum to make it befitting for the students? 

I am responsible for managing and motivating all of the departmental staff. I also work to enable the students to receive skilled education in their subject areas. I ensure there is a positive, encouraging and effective working environment. I also organise educational tours, guest lectures from corporate experts, sports activities and the YOGA program. In summary, my role is to organize extracurriculars that will enhance the learning experience of the students.

Which strategy do you use to help students to cope with this competitive world? 

I always plan to develop a strategy to bring out the hidden talents and skills in our students. I organise projects so that every student can participate in a group and contribute. They may have different roles and objectives in the project, allowing them to exercise different skills. I always appreciate every student's good work but they must also be taught to praise and encourage others' efforts too.

What extra-curricular activities are organized in college to enhance the skills of the students?

We have numerous extracurricular activities for our students. In the past, we have organised many activities, like skill development programs like Anandam. We also have club activities, competitions, cultural programs and sports that are organised in college to enhance the skills of the students.

Any valuable advice which you would like to share with young minds? 

Always appreciate and be thankful to your parents because they have made it possible for you to achieve anything. Use the Internet as a tool for education rather than entertainment. Stress is a fact of life, but it should never become a way of life. There’s no shame in asking for help. Don’t hesitate to ask your teachers or parents if you can't find the answer. To be successful, you must learn how to deal with negative emotions. Also, focus on progress, not perfection.
