Being a faculty of the physics department, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

Being a faculty member, preparing and delivering lecture sessions is my first responsibility. Apart from this, overseeing laboratory activities, assigning projects, and the numerical portion of physics topics are important as well.


How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellar faculties?

As a physics faculty member, I consider that discipline is the main part of providing healthy relationships because every student follows their teachers. Physics is a practical subject, so delivering lectures through fun learning activities and practical knowledge creates a healthy environment.

To establish healthy relationships with fellow faculty, being supportive and cooperative is very important. You should be helping nature towards your fellow faculties.


How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards the subject and make it industry oriented and prepare students for higher studies?

Physics is a practical subject related to nature events, so creating interest in physics is very important.

First, make a group of students, give them a task, and help them finish it. Conducting science exhibitions at the college level and also assigning students to participate in many science competitions at all levels so that they can learn things and be up-to-date with modern physics.


What are the best practices offered by the department to the students which help them gain necessary skills?

Any basic concept of each topic is important so that students can touch on the subject and topics and feel the interesting facts. My first duty is to deliver lectures on the basic concepts of each topic. Second Explain each topic by easily doing interesting experiments so they can perform them at home. Group study is crucial to gain skills, and exhibitions, seminars, webinars, and conferences play a pivotal role in gaining knowledge.


What are the challenges you faced / are facing to uplift the quality education of your department?

The main challenge is that the students are not taking physics Seriously in a practical manner, so as a physics faculty member, I recommended that physics should be practical as well as theoretical. We are taking this challenge seriously and helping students improve their practical knowledge. Most students are not studying physics; they are doing regular graduation, so it must be interesting for quality education.


When you came to college, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?

When I came to college, my first vision was to provide interesting lectures and high-quality education with practical knowledge of physics. To achieve the same, we are Conducting seminars related to physics. Discipline is crucial for everyone; so far, we maintain students’ attendance registers and conduct unit tests to check their performance. We provide high-quality education and help prepare students for the IIT-JAM, DRDO, CSIR-NET, ISRO, BARC, and TIFR entrance exams.


How does the Rajasthan swayat shasan Mahavidyalaya enhance the skills of the faculty and prepare them according to the industry standard?

Every staff member in our college is highly qualified and an expert in their field. Every staff member is NET-qualified or Ph.D.-qualified and highly experienced. Apart from this, they are touched with industry knowledge, and our college management conducts faculty development programs and other programs that enhance the skills of every staff member.


What do you see as the department's / colleges greatest strengths and how can they be enhanced?

The greatest strength of our department and college is its highly credentialed faculty members with a good diversity of experiences. Every faculty member is active in research and publication. We have good equipment in the laboratories for UG and PG students. We place equal emphasis on theory and practical knowledge.
We have good qualities and a big library with thousands of books that are useful for preparing students for IIT-JAM NET, SET, GATE, and other central university entrance exams and basic research in the subject.


What valuable advice would you like to give to the students for them to have a prosperous career ahead?

For the bright future of students, I would like to suggest that every student be up-to-date with industry knowledge and never stop learning.
For Success in the future, first set your mindset for your goals according to your interests and try a different way to achieve them, but your mindset for your goals should be fixed.
Books are not sufficient; you should also be aware of practical knowledge. Simple hard work in the right direction is the key to your success.
