You have been associated with the education sector for a long. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
Teaching is my passion. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with the students. It gives me satisfaction to see my students performing well. It is extremely encouraging to me to see their achievements. This motivates me to increase my knowledge and keep learning.
What are the best practices of commerce offered by the department to the students which help them gain the necessary skills?
To improve the conceptual knowledge of students, the commerce teachers deliver lectures, organize seminars and hold group discussions. To have practical skills students are asked to serve problems, conduct projects and sometimes industrial visits are also scheduled.

Ware your views on the placements and higher education about the students from your department or How does your department prepare students for Higher education?(Future after commerce)
Today’s youths are aware of the competitive environment. To have good and timely placement we have our students discuss and share their thoughts with us. As a mentor, we guide them to prepare for and apply for MBA, CA, and CS courses. Past students have prepared for banking examinations, the insurance sector, and statistical and economic services. Most of our students also apply for higher education while others opt to help their families with their businesses.
Do you have any extracurricular activities/ programs to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real-world challenges?
We have organized and planned extracurricular activities throughout the academic year. To expose the students to real-world challenges, seminars are organised, and industrial and managerial experts are invited to deliver lectures. The students are also encouraged and motivated to attend seminars organised by other colleges.
What do you see as Rajasthan Swayat Shasans’ greatest strengths and What are some of the biggest challenges you see ahead?
Rajasthan Swayat Shasan Mahavidyalaya’s greatest strengths are well-qualified teachers with practical experience who impart the latest knowledge to the students. Our classes have state-of-the-art facilities and we have a well-stocked library as well. The college holds chess, drawing, and debate competitions where students are motivated for inter-college competitions. In addition to this college, we also have our annual function ‘UMANG’ and picnics for students. The biggest challenges for the Rajasthan Swayat Shasan Mahavidyalaya is to increase the enrolment of students, develop infrastructure and raise financial resources.
When you came to the college, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?
At the time of joining the college, my vision was to impart the best possible knowledge to the students. I wanted to give my best and modernize the curriculum. It is with great pride, I can say that we have managed to achieve a lot of our initial goals. I am highly satisfied that the college and Principal sir, provided me with opportunities to achieve this vision.
