What keeps you connected with the education sector and how has your experience been so far with the institute?

Teaching is my passion. Since completing my post-graduation approximately ten years ago, I have been associated with the education sector. I don't just teach students; I always seek to motivate them and connect them with new features, aspects, and the latest trends in the market. This helps students in their job pursuits and other research endeavours if they are interested in research.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

Great leaders use a variety of tools to maximise their impact as leaders. Leadership is a structured approach to leading others, which may include theories, attitudes, and behaviours towards colleagues or juniors. As a leader, I always believe that everyone should practice or participate in the process. I prefer to listen to others' ideas and always motivate them to grow and upscale their knowledge, which is then delivered to the students.

How does the curriculum of your college ensure best practices?

Our colleges are affiliated with AICTE and RGPV universities, which follow the courses provided by these universities and AICTE. Consequently, we always emphasise hands-on practices. Coming from an electrical background, we regularly conduct various workshops and seminars related to the latest and future trends in the field. We consistently organize activities, such as industrial visits, to complement their learning experience. Through these efforts, we aim to create a conducive environment that helps students complete their degrees and gain valuable knowledge.

What do you think should be the top priority of the college in the next 10 years?

In the next ten years, if we consider the present scenario, technologies will change rapidly. When we talk about individual branches, it's important to note that technology is interconnected across various branches. Therefore, our institute aims to provide knowledge that encompasses the entire technological landscape. Over the next ten years, we will continually focus on imparting upcoming skills and technologies to students through workshops and hands-on practices.

What are your roles and responsibilities?

As an HOD, my responsibilities include handling the department and taking care of both the faculty and students within it. Therefore, as a HOD, I am always focused on improving academics, addressing student issues, staying abreast of upcoming trends, and facilitating the upskilling of both students and faculty. This ensures that they can deliver the best possible education to the students.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

If we talk about present things, the students are the elements that link with both the future and the past. Similarly, in the case of knowledge, it encompasses present theories and future aspects. Therefore, we have to merge both. So, I always advise students to keep updating their basics and draw from the past, implementing this knowledge in their futures. This approach allows them to strive for the best in their lives.
