Dr. Saket Ranjan has been working here as a professor since 2018 and has an enriching 22 years of teaching experience. Before this place, He was working under a United Nations program in Ethiopia, where he worked for four years. He had gone there through the society itself, the Shri Shankaracharya Society, which is the Shri Gangajali Education Society. And since 2003, he has been continuously working for this organization.

What is the latest program you are offering in your institute/department? Which will help the students to perform better and stand out from the crowd?
There are several newly added programs in engineering. The AI branch has been added; as far as I am looking after the Ph.D. program, a branch has been added. So Ph.D. programs, such as Ph.D. Management programs, We added this program in 2020. And this was the beginning. I started this program here. After that, we went for a Ph.D. program in computer science and applied physics. So, as of now, we have three research centers in different disciplines, and four more centers are coming soon, which are likely to be approved in the coming months only by universities.
What are the factors that make this program the best for students to choose?
You know, the first Ph.D. program in traditional universities was, you know, some typical routine work. But in the present scenario, the dimension of a Ph.D. has completely gotten involved in it. Once you enroll in the Ph.D. program, you face the entrance exam. What was happening earlier was that you were just passing your master's degree. You will indicate that you will contact the university or institute. After that, once the student is qualified, he or she will have to face a personal interview. Then again, earlier in the year, there were only six months of coursework. Since last year, it has been started, and it consists of 2 semesters of coursework in a year; 1 semester encompasses research methodology, computer applications, valuable publications, and learning things. And the second semester is limited to subject-oriented preparation in terms of preparing for that term. Hence, It is something unique that is introduced by the UGC.
What would you call a "best practice" in the course you are offering?
The best practice is my program, which is a research program. Research is a continuous process that depends on the work. The more you go into the depths of the research world, it is not limited to just knowing what is happening in the outside world; in fact, there is no syllabus for the Ph.D. program. A Ph.D. program is always beyond the curriculum; you will have to study beyond the walls. So it's me, you know, with a new kind of approach as far as other courses are concerned. He said that the best practice and the best strategy is that the student has to go beyond the curriculum, see the world, see what is happening, and create a new space that is innovative for their student.

What are some valuable inputs about the programs you are offering in your institute/department?
Here we are in comparison to other similar organizations. For example, I have been trained in the Research Methodology program. I am a certified instructor of IBM SPSS. We are presenting this program. The latest version of IBM SPSS in our lab is 29.0. You know our programming. We are also learning, although it is free. Still, we have it, and we are providing training to the students. Do you know we also have a case center where students study by writing cases through stairs? We provide enough material for their students. Through this, they prepare themselves to face the upcoming challenges.
How does the program ensure that students are being prepared for the future?
You know that at a student's age, he is not only studying but also studying the outside world. A feature of this program is that the student has to understand the outside world. What is happening in the area of research? Based on that, this student has to find out what has not been done, which is what often happens when writing a research paper. Here, compulsorily, the student has published two or three papers in index journals like IJCR, Scopus, SCI, etc. These things prepare students to face the competitive world.

How have you trained yourself/the faculty to deliver this program to the students?
Learning equals imparting learning. A teacher should be a sincere student. I have had teaching experience for more than 20 years. From the very beginning, I realized that if I am going to attend a 1-hour class, I have to prepare for at least 2 hours to conduct the class.
What are the benefits and career options after doing this course?
There are many opportunities. You know what was happening in earlier organizations: there were a few departments like the production department, the finance department, the HR department, and the marketing department. There have been a few innovations, or rather, new additions. ORJ Group Introduction by Vikram Sarabhai A new position has been established in the Research Department. There are now several organizations that are looking for research professionals, even in academics. First, there is a person. Every master's qualified, every NET qualified something like that. They had to get a place in academics, but in the coming days this speech program is going to be mandatory, and many organizations are inviting PhD holders for their research and development, and it will be bigger in the coming time.
