Dr. Kaushal Kumar Tewari is currently working as the Secretary of UTTHAN Foundation which founded and manages Shambhunath Group of Institutions, Prayagraj. He has over 30 years of experience in the education sector and laid the foundation of Shambhunath Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2004 and since then the institute has become a leading player in education in UP East and Prayagraj. He holds a Ph.D from BHU Varanasi and has completed his Bachelors and Master’s from University of Allahabad.

What keeps you engaged in the education sector?

The education sector is like a vast universe to me, brimming with endless possibilities and opportunities. Leadership, to me, is all about empowerment, empathy, and vision. It goes beyond giving orders; it's about empowering others to reach their full potential. A great leader creates an environment where everyone feels valued, motivated, and capable of giving their best. Having a clear vision and the ability to inspire others to rally behind it is crucial for effective leadership. Sharing a compelling vision provides direction and purpose, motivating the team to work towards common goals. Adaptability, openness to feedback, and a commitment to learning are essential for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
