The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute/ university/ school?
The NEP policy that India came out with, makes the education of our country better. In which you can opt for any field to study and there is an easy exit and entry to it. There is no restriction for the student that you will have to study only one subject, but you can study whatever subject you want.
How does the curriculum of XYZ College/University ensure the best practice of industry?
Today, the industry is moving forward and it is necessary that we match with the industry. Our curriculum is a blend of academic theory and industry practices. So in our institute, we have our Board of Studies, in which our senior faculty also resides, along with experts from outside, so that we can prepare the students while matching the industry.

Any insights into how your university could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?
Children from all over the world come to study here, like from African countries, we have many students from Nepal, so there is no differentiation here. If we talk about students from weaker sections, we take special care of them, we keep updating them with policies and also update them about government scholarships so that they will not face any problems and feel comfortable on campus.
What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the University and the students are?
As teachers, it is our responsibility to give the knowledge that we have to the students. In the right way, in the right direction, if we share our knowledge, the students learn quickly and upgrade themselves accordingly, so the teacher should always be updated with what is happening in the surroundings AND what all changes are taking place in the industry.
Do you think it should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?
In the coming 10 years, we have to strengthen NEP and make it more successful and implement it well. Our implementation should be so good that students from all over the world want to study at our institute.
What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?
We have Asia's No.1 carbon capture plant, which is not yet in the whole of Asia and 3rd in the world. We are also doing a great job in research and now we have 50 registered patents.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?
There is no shortcut to success. So choose only that in your career in which you have an interest and students should be very polite and courteous, they have to quickly adapt, and reskill rather than upskill and face the challenges.
