MAT exam dates 2026 for the February session have been released by AIMA, the exam conducting authority. MAT PBT will be conducted on 1st March and MAT CBT will be conducted on 8th March. Candidates who wish to appear for the MAT CBT or PBT can register at AIMA website.

  • MAT 2026 registration is also open for both modes now. MAT February session Registration last date to apply is 23rd February for PBT and 2nd March for CBT. 
  • MAT 2026 admit card release date for CBT and PBT is 5th March 2026 and 26th February 2026. Carrying a copy of your MAT admit card on the day of exam is mandatory.

MAT Exam Dates: Registration for February Session 2026

The MAT Exam 2026 registration must be done through the official website of MAT-AIMA. Registering early will also help you choose your preferred exam session, city, centre, and colleges. Yes, the MAT registration process allows you to select up to five colleges of your choice.

  1. Visit the official website of MAT-AIMA: https://mat.aima.in
  2. Register yourself using your full name, email ID, contact number, and date of birth.
  3. Create and set up your account by choosing a secure password.
  4. Fill out the application form, selecting your preferred exam mode – PBT, CBT, or both (dual mode).
  5. Provide your academic qualifications and personal details to complete the application form.
  6. Upload the required documents, including your passport-size photo and signature.
  7. Pay the application fee to complete your registration: ₹2200 for a single mode (CBT or PBT) or ₹3800 for dual mode.

Note: If you plan to appear in multiple attempts of the MAT Exam 2026, you must register separately for each attempt and pay the applicable fee each time.

AIMA will release the MAT Admit Card on their official website a few days before the exam.

  • Applicants for the MAT PBT session can download their admit cards from 26th February 2026.
  • ​CBT applicants can download their admit cards from 5th March 2026.
