The MAT is divided into five sections, each with forty questions. In the 150 questions that make up the MAT exam, candidates have 120 minutes to complete the entire paper. The entire MAT entrance exam syllabus is divided into five key sections which are Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Economic and Business Environment, and Intelligence & Critical Reasoning. The difficulty level of questions in the paper may be easy or moderate. However, some questions might be tricky.
The MAT Registrations are closing on December 15th. Candidates already appeared for the December exam, may apply for the 2nd exam, before December 15 and avail concession in the registration fee for the exam scheduled on December 22.

- The CBT 1 Exam was conducted on 7th December 2024. The CBT 2 Exam will be conducted on 22nd December 2024 & the PBT Exam will be conducted on 14th December 2024.

MAT can be taken for admission to 220+ Participating B-Schools located in 32 Test cities around the country. The MAT Syllabus was revised and updated in 2024. Indian and Global Environment was replaced with Economics and Business Studies. The other four sections Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, and Intelligence & Critical Reasoning remain the same. MAT Syllabus is the same for PBT and CBT.
MAT Score is acceptable even to certain other Institutes for considering admission of candidates for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma programs, besides the above Institutes, subject to specific cut-off marks and other admission parameters.
