Bihar Board Class 12 History Syllabus 2024-25 has been released on the official website biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Candidates can download the syllabus PDF from the official website. Bihar Board Class 12 History exam will be held tentatively in February 2025.

There is a change in the question paper pattern of Bihar Board Class 12 History for the academic session 2024-25. There will be 2 sections in the question paper - 50 marks for objective questions and 50 marks for subjective questions.

  • In the objective part, there will be 100 Questions and students have to attempt any 50 questions out of 100 questions.
  • In the subjective part, there will be 8 questions for 5 marks (students have to attempt 4 out of 8 questions) and 30 questions for 2 marks (students have to attempt 15 out of 30 questions).

Bihar Board Class 12 History Syllabus 2023-24 is divided into 3 parts as follows:

  • Part I: Themes in Indian History I (Archaeology and Ancient India) - It carries 25 marks and consists of the topics of Ancient Indian History.
  • Part II: Themes in Indian History II (Medieval India) - It carries 30 marks and consists of the topics of Medieval India, Religious Movements, and Traveller's Accounts.
  • Part III: Themes in Indian History III (Modern India) - It carries 45 marks and consists of the topics of Modern India and Framing the Indian Constitution.
