BAMS or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is one of the most popular medical courses besides MBBS. The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) is the responsible body for the admission and practice of Ayurvedic medicine in India. BAMS Admission takes place through NEET.

• The Maharashtra University of Health Science requires Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ST/OBC; 45% aggregate for PWD category candidates) along with English as one of the subjects
• 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
• Selection will be done based on marks obtained in the NEET exam which is followed by various rounds of counselling conducted.

The most popular entrance test for admission to the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is NEET 2025.
