Life of a girls college in DU

Likes

The college fest months are the best ones
The library is quite good. You can sit and study quitely till 4:30-5pm
The teachers are nice if you behave well with them

Dislikes

Canteen is okayish. You can just eat there for your Survival.
There's sometimes water problem in the washrooms which is quite disturbing
There are not many water tankers in the college. You won't find water in summers for drinking

I choose zoology honors. It's a quite difficult one if you don't choose to study regularly. The faculty is okayish. There's no such thing as called 'friendly environment' in the college. The exam pattern is a little hard so it's not that scoring. But overall it's a good, go-with-the-flow kind of course.

Daulat Ram College:- My POV

Likes

Campus infrastructure :- infrastructure is good and the amenities are properly maintained and security is also there in campus.
Fellowmates are very good in my department and college. They are very helpful and supportive in nature.
Faculties :- The professors are always ready for help . They clear doubts even in night if asked .

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not upto the mark which is disappointing .
Hostel capacity is very less . Capacity should be increased so that more girls could live there
There is hectic routine in college which is tiresome and annoying sometimes

Placement Experience:

Placement is below average in my department. Very few students get placed in college. However companies like Deloitte, Infosys, and Wipro come for the posts of a data analyst, human resource department, etc. The highest packages are approx. 10 LPA whereas on average, 4 LPA is the package received by students. Students are mostly placed in the final semester.

My course is a bachelor of commerce (honours). I chose this course because I like finance. The faculty is good in college. The exams were in a haphazard manner. And a lot of assignments and practicals

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester and in the 5th of the fifth-semester students start getting placement from the college and various companies visit like Deloitte, KPMG, pine labs, etc and many more .and if we talk about the highest package of bcom hons is 20 lakh and the average package is 6 lakh. Up to 70% of students get the placements. My plan is to continue studying further for post-graduation.

So I was interested in psychology since class 11th as I studied it in my school. So I opted for psychology Hons. And DRC is one of the good colleges as their faculty is so nice in this department. They are so understanding and try to help every student in every situation. The teachers are also well qualified and have a good amount of knowledge too.

Campus life of an ordinary student

Placement Experience:

Usually, 6th-semester students are eligible for placement. During undergraduate there are not many placements but after MA placement opportunities are much more. The average placement in undergrad is around 5-6 lakhs.

DAULAT RAM COLLEGE: IS IT WORTH ?

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are held from the third year many companies like Byjus offer students jobs during the placement the highest package the college student got was about 19 lakhs per annum. The average package is about 4 to 6 lakh.
