I would like to rate the course of my college because of it's affiliation with Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi only that is the reason for the chosen of this college that may help us for our academic reputation.

Students generally pursue BA course in this college for civil service examination but in this college there is not exist environment of competitive exams rather than completely professors focuses on completing their academic syllabus

I wanted to focus on other competitive exams along with. Studies as its flexible with attendance I can miss the class and prepare for other things. It has super supportive faculty members. I don't think I'm quite privileged enough to suggest anything for improving as Banaras Hindu University is a huge thing. You can expect your 1st semester in January and 2nd semester in June and 3-5 semester exam in late November and 4-6 semester in May.

the course structure was well designed and updated with the ongoing preparations of government exams which helped me alot in my preparations as everywhere polity is something that is a mandatory one and hence the curriculum plus the overall teaching pattern the timing of exams and the level of difficulty was moderate if someone had attended all the classes, plus the marking scheme was a bit hard and other aspects like attendance was also included, however there's no such compulsion that one must attend the classes this was only applicable for sessionals

Political science has good scope in future. It helps in understanding society, governance,etc. It should be quite practical not just theory based. It gets boring if we only study thoery. Sessional exams are there in 1 semester along with semester exam.

I choose the economics because of its curriculum and teachers As we all know that economics is very important for our daily life so college prepared the curriculum based on real world applications... I can suggest there can be some practical instead of only theory The frequency of exams is very high like in every two or three month we have sessional exams which is lasted for nearly a month sessional exams are easy tho but external exams are not that easy

Since I pursued B.A.(Hons) Sociology, in my personal opinion the course circiculum of the initial two years is primarily theoretic which can't be practically applied to modern day societal problems. However, in the 3rd year, subjects taught are relevant to an extent. The teaching methodolgy is old nd obselete, professors come and deliver their lecture. Since the college isn't equipped with digital boards there leaves no scope for teachers to use slides and other engaging mediums of teaching. The college lacks many basic amenities and even the library at a time can equip only 20-25 students. Exams are semester wise i.e. twice a year. To score 50+ out of 70 is all matter of overnight as one need to only prepare last 3 years question paper.

I have done B.A .( Hons.) In History . The syllabus is fully based on syllabus of BHU since it is affiliated college of BHU . It covers all topics of subject which is useful for competitive exams. But with day to day exam pattern are changing so syllabus should also be modified with comparison with it . It should bring some practical knowledge and field visits Exam held on semster basis it is of 3 hr consists of 70 marks difficulty level is moderate.

the course curriculum is same as of banaras hindu university curriculum. Every aspect of course are almost okay in nature. syllabus are based on UGC india guidelines .the area of improvement is that now teachers should mix the modern world tech into our classes .

It can be considered good by review and experiences which I have seen for last 2 years. Students can opt for courses that can enrich their approach and motivate them and improve their skills with different perspectives and learning.
