Don't get admission in DAV pg college BHU before reading this

I wanted to focus on other competitive exams along with. Studies as its flexible with attendance I can miss the class and prepare for other things. It has super supportive faculty members. I don't think I'm quite privileged enough to suggest anything for improving as Banaras Hindu University is a huge thing. You can expect your 1st semester in January and 2nd semester in June and 3-5 semester exam in late November and 4-6 semester in May.

Yearly fees I paid was around 10,600, everything including. My batchmates of genral categery pays around 20,000 it's quite affordable since it's affiliated to Banaras Hindu University, which is a central university.

Not really sure about fest but theres a annual fest and also you are access to all programs in main campus of BHU. You can participate in inter faculty, and all sort of sports event. There are different social group for students to join but they are all wack.

I wanted to do engineering and since I couldn't get into iit or nit, other engineering college aren't worth it i guess cause they are quite expensive and doesn't quite give you a good placement. I got here by cuet and bhu councilling cut-off is quite low in comparison to main campus

Not quite sure about the faculty to student ratio but the faculty are quite supportive to the students. Like this college will give you more internal marks than the main campus and you'll be flexible with attendance. You can miss your Sessional test and can take them back later easily. So, now there are like 8semester for like 5 papers along with the session for every paper. It's quite easy you can prepare using privious year question and will predict the pattern

There is a gym in college campus with a good liberary, and good cafeteria to sit and chat with friend. There is only a hostel that too only for girls. Boys have to struggle with hostel but that's alright. Ther are quite good places to hangout in varanasi toh you can visit them all
