Course Curriculum Overview

Students generally pursue BA course in this college for civil service examination but in this college there is not exist environment of competitive exams rather than completely professors focuses on completing their academic syllabus

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

10000/- is the regular fee for B.A ARTS and +10000/- for paid seat . This is for Unreserve category but For OBC , SC/ST students fees is less than 10k Bcom fee structure is higher than the Arts and fee structure is different as per different category

Campus Life

Overall experience is not really good because College only focuses on completion of academic syllabus and there is not a single environment of competition and motivation which is important need of student

Admission

I choose this college because this college is affiliated to Banaras Hindu University and it provide you degree and grade card of BHU itself. Another reason is that the teaching staff is very punctual and and their teaching ability is great

Faculty

Exams in this college are held inside the campus of Banaras Hindu University. Marking scheme of each paper is 100 (70+30) Question paper are generally easy but the difficulty level maybe according to subject of paper

Night Life

This college has not its hostel but gym facility library are there. The campus of college is very small that's why there's no space for Hangout. The famous hangout place is the Ganga Ghat near the college and night out is safe

from last semester you were elegible to join the placement event but my collage did nit provide any kind of on campus placement . students need to find jobs outside the campus or in simple words the collage is not provode any kind of placements to the students you just have to work hard and apply or reach the companies from yourself . my plan is to join a government job after my graduation.

Don't get admission in DAV pg college BHU before reading this

I wanted to do engineering and since I couldn't get into iit or nit, other engineering college aren't worth it i guess cause they are quite expensive and doesn't quite give you a good placement. I got here by cuet and bhu councilling cut-off is quite low in comparison to main campus...Read More

DAV, from Varanasi prospective

I applied for bhu main campus as my first preference, this college as second (on the basis of distance) and thirdly on vasanta college in which I got selected but later it got upgraded to this as it was my second preference, however I couldn't make up to the main campus the admission process included entrance exam , with cutoff that was a bit higher, but now the process included students from all over the country as cuet involved in the process, that could be a negative point as many students who did not even want to get into bhu could also come to this...Read More
