Course Curriculum Overview

I have done B.A .( Hons.) In History . The syllabus is fully based on syllabus of BHU since it is affiliated college of BHU . It covers all topics of subject which is useful for competitive exams. But with day to day exam pattern are changing so syllabus should also be modified with comparison with it . It should bring some practical knowledge and field visits Exam held on semster basis it is of 3 hr consists of 70 marks difficulty level is moderate.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Till now I have studied for 3 years here and no fees had increased since now . Fees is taken on yearly basis . Complete cost of my education was 22000 for 3 years . Government scholarships facilities are provided. No campus placement here .

Campus Life

Annual festival celebrated is UMANG in which every student get the chance to show their talent . Library is top class with best facility and every magazines and newspapers are available on daily basis for study . Extracurricular activities is done on periodical basis There are two Student portal one on BHU portal and other colleges portal.

Admission

Admission process is fully done by BHU counselling process. Admission is done by NTA CUET UG exam which is applicable for BHU. Reservation is given based on caste SC ,ST, and OBC as per central government guidelines.

We can easily interact with our teachers and teachers are very friendly in nature they suport student on every perspective of life including future scopes and studies suitable for them. They try to solve the problem of every student they are very much supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course structure was well designed and updated with the ongoing preparations of government exams which helped me alot in my preparations as everywhere polity is something that is a mandatory one and hence the curriculum plus the overall teaching pattern the timing of exams and the level of difficulty was moderate if someone had attended all the classes, plus the marking scheme was a bit hard and other aspects like attendance was also included, however there's no such compulsion that one must attend the classes this was only applicable for sessionals

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

I applied for bhu main campus as my first preference, this college as second (on the basis of distance) and thirdly on vasanta college in which I got selected but later it got upgraded to this as it was my second preference, however I couldn't make up to the main campus the admission process included entrance exam , with cutoff that was a bit higher, but now the process included students from all over the country as cuet involved in the process, that could be a negative point as many students who did not even want to get into bhu could also come to this...Read More
