I chose this course because I have always wanted to become a chef since my school days. This course provides sufficient education and practice that a person needs. Additionally, one of the best chefs in India graduated from this college, which is why I selected this course.
The internship opportunity is good because we have to undergo 4 months of compulsory training at a 5-star or 4-star property.
Placement and job opportunities are one of the best in its field, with 30-35 companies coming to the college. The placement cell is one of the best in the institute.
Dislikes
Such a facility was observed during my tenure. The institute itself is government-aided and all the government norms would be applicable. The fees itself are nominal.
Even though its a bit boring, you really dont get much time after spending your 9-5 in college because it gets a little hectic.
You cannot take a cooler or AC with it because it is against their rules

Curriculum of the course is way behind which is happening in the industry.
College must have more cultural fests like other colleges.
Gender ratio in the college is not appropriate.
Placement Experience:
During our time college had 100% placement rate, in the placement rate, in the placement drive all big brands participated like Taj, Hyatt, Oberoi, Marriott and their were also some retail companies like Aditya Birla group and Arvind Lifestyle. Most of the companies had same procedure like first round ground discussion, second round personal interview and then company have rounds with senior management of the department.
Faculty support each and every students and give personal coaching if required.

And almost all the students placed well from college.
I also placed from college at Haldiram's as Management Trainee

No sports available in campus for students.
Less space to sit for students in free time.
Course Curriculum Overview:
It's very realistic and relatable course if one is interested in hotel industry although the pay is less and work hour is more but still the course will help you to make a professional hotelier and make you a professional.

The campus area is small, only two small buildings.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course because I was interested in the subjects as this is a little different from other conventional career options. the faculty is good and they are well qualified, the college is particular and strict about grooming, behaviour, discipline and also punctuality
college campus placement drive begins in month of october each year and 3rd year students are eligible to appear for campus placements. a lot of comapnies visited the campus, to name a few like taj, oberois, hyatt, ihg, reliance retails etc. min 80% of students who appreared for campus placements got atleast one offer letter. reliance is the mass recruiter of the college who hires candidates for luxury retails. i joined reliance retail after the college but left after 11 months due to unfavourable circumstances. then i started studying again for my masters
In my 3 years from 5 semesters I become eligible for campus interviews, yes many companies come and also almost everyone got a job but the problem is there is no one to stop those who sit on every campus even they have a job.
Many students were like even they have 4 jobs they going to many new campuses also.
The average package is around 3 to 4.5 lakhs per annum and the maximum of the 5 star hotels and food outlets kike dominos have come for placement.
They provide for manager level and also for supervisor level jobs.
Yes, percentage of placements is good around 85 percent and the rest were who wants to study further or company rejects them.
My plan is to again look for a job as because of corona my previous placement got cancelled.
