Faculty is really helpful and friendly they do help you with your things a lot
The anti ragging policy of our college is really good
The ragging bullying and harassment is strictly prohibited and if done a strict action is taken right away

Dislikes

The campus is kinda small and not really big
There's no canteen in the collage so it misses some convince

Course Curriculum Overview

I like cooking and hence got in this college of hotel management The curriculum does prepares you for the further academics cause you'll figure out everything easily and teachers will teach you everything with deep briefings The exam timings are almost good and the exams are easy to moderate

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

12000 is my yearly fee for now The tution fee is about 50-55000 and the other are the registrations and all per sem tho there are benifits for the reservations Yes our collage do offer scholarships padho yogna

Campus Life

Almost every national and international festivals are enjoyed here like holi dusherra and diwali in thier respective months The library is really vast and helpful it really gets the job done cause it has plenty of books of the course and apart from it too No such Sports Activites

Admission

I didn't applied in any other collage cause i got admission in this earlier and the nearest You have to give an enterence exam to get admissions called NCHMCT-JEE which is a govt exam or you can give collage's enterence exam to get in

Faculty

The faculty is really good and helpful and friendly they really do help you a lot with tha assignments and all and listenes to your problems too The kitchen faculty is really good and helpful really friendly and jokes a lot sometimes Not as such which i don't like cause they really dont disturb you but they do sometimes gives you the assignments

Night Life

There's a gym in the hostel not really fancy but gets the job done The hostel timings are 8:00 pm and the Campus timings are 9:00Am Chandigarh is very vast to hang around and yes it is safe in the nights too

Placement Experience:

There is almost 90 percent placement rate and every student get placement from the college itself. The average package is of 4 lakhs per annum and highest is provided at 10 lakh per annum. My plans are to settle abroad

My Experience in BEST Hospitality College

Placement Experience:

During our time college had 100% placement rate, in the placement rate, in the placement drive all big brands participated like Taj, Hyatt, Oberoi, Marriott and their were also some retail companies like Aditya Birla group and Arvind Lifestyle. Most of the companies had same procedure like first round ground discussion, second round personal interview and then company have rounds with senior management of the department.

Facts about AIHM Chandigarh

Remarks:

This is a good option but with very much restrictions for Punctuality and Grooming standards. You have to be ready to adhere them before joining this course as it is a course which will help you in developing profeesionally.

Remarks:

I like this college actually I liked it. Yea attendance is very strict u should have 75% attendance else u will get detained and cannot be seated in exams and for detained reappearing fees is 10000 Baki syllabus is good and knowledge Food stalls are good there and the crowd is good

My First Home away from Home, AIHM Chandigarh

i had to take an entrance exam, NCHM JEE whose form i had to fill up in january and gave the exam in april , after the results are in there are 3 rounds of counselling in which i had to fill up my four choice of colleges after which i could see if i got alloted that college based on ranking cutoff or not my pref were ihm pusa, ihm chandigarh and ihm jaipur but i could not get ihm pusa as i got 721 AIR and the cutoff was 680 in first counselling , i was given the choice to apply for second counselling for ihm pusa but for that i had to forfiet my allocation in ihm chandigarh, and after i accepted the chandigarh campus, i was offered choice of hostel based on my AIR the entire process was streamlined and very smooth...Read More
