I consider myself lucky to be a part of MCODS Mangalore. Got to learn so much. Our college not just takes care of our academic needs but also helps us be better human beings capable to absolutely ace through life.
It's updated. I'm in first year only so don't know the exposure. Faculty is good and understanding. They will definitely help you for whatever. We have something called as a teacher guardian where the teacher helps students under him or her
It fills up all the possible lacunae. The academic faculties are state of the art.The curriculum is rigorous, challenging and up-to-date.Recent advances in dentistry like cbct, implants, rotary Endodonctics are sensitised at an undergraduate level, unlike any other college.Needless to mention that half of the books we follow here at mcods are written by our in house faculties from mcods and kmc, that speeks a lot about the kind of experience and knowledge they have on their subjects.
Are course is upto the mark with Dental council of India. And if DCI facilitates any change in curriculum then our college makes the changes asap. Some of our teachers are very friendly and supportive but for the first years its difficult to access them because first years live in different campus than other students.
Its always updated. Yes they start clinics in 3rd year itself and give exposure to various types of clinical aspects. Faculties are the best they always bring the best out of students. All faculties are exceptional. They are well versed in their subjects. They always help students in their research work.
It is more on the expensive side. We pay around five lakhs and sixteen thousand every year which keeps increasing each year. This is just the tution fee. We all pay some fifty thousand to two lakh rupee for the hostel facility depending upon the type of room we're opting for
It is surely expensive, towards the higher side, as compared to other leading private colleges, but the facilities, faculty and learning make it worthy. It is definitely more than goverment colleges, we have to pay yearly
I would say that the fees right now is slightly more on the expensive side and since national banks do provide loans for college education,i suggest taking advantage of that..being a private university, the fees is more, but it is worth for what you are paying..but I will strongly suggest you to meet your national bank manager and talk to him or her about prospective loans...
